Almaqam was due to run at Sandown, but the ground was just too quick for him, so he is probably going to wait for the Prix d’Ispahan or the Tattersalls Gold Cup if we get some ease in the ground. He’s got some exceptional form and is in the form of his life, so it was pretty gutting that he couldn’t run in the Gordon Richards Stakes, but such is life. He’s a very special horse and doesn’t need to improve to win a Group 1 - he just needs to find the right one.

We think she is of that level and really has just had a lack of options. She’s been a tricky filly to train and keep right, but we think we’re on a roll with her now. She probably doesn’t want any extremes of going.

Fast Tracker was disappointing on his first run for us at Saint-Cloud, but he is training well. He needs a bit of ease in the ground, and we will go eight to ten furlongs with him. I’m not sure where he will go next as it really depends on the ground.

Having done so well in Dubai, we are giving Fort George a bit of a break now. He will probably be campaigned mainly abroad this year. We’ll target some races in Canada and America, and possibly even France, but he’s a lovely horse.

She had a good year last year, and she’ll follow exactly the same path. She’ll start in the Prix de Saint-Georges, and then we’ll see how she is. We’ll only have her until Ascot, so we will have a shot and then she’ll head to Australia. She’s flying at the moment, so we are very hopeful.

She came good on the fast ground at the end of the season, and we will campaign her quite aggressively this year in the staying races to see if we can build up some more black type. We always liked her, but she just took an age to find her way, and we were running on the wrong ground and over the wrong trip, but we got there in the end.

She won the Sandringham for us last year and has been second in two Listed races now. I think she has improved for her run when second in the Snowdrop, and she could run at Nottingham on Sunday or possibly in the Conqueror. We need to try and win a stakes race somewhere with her.

He’s a big tank of a horse by Starman, and he won nicely on his reappearance at Sandown on Friday. The plan was the Palace of Holyrood House, but he was quite impressive and so we will have to possibly consider something more ambitious like the Sandy Lane and then the Commonwealth Cup. We will see what the handicapper does with him.
