Verdict

Bellarchi made the return to Listed level a successful one at Chester and is of clear interest, despite her penalty, but it might pay to side with CHESHIRE DANCER. Hugo Palmer's mare finished second in this race 12 months ago before claiming Group 3 honours at Ascot and last month's creditable effort at the Royal meeting would suggest a return to form might be imminent. American Gal can get the better of Arisaig for third.

BELLARCHI has been in terrific form this season and arrives chasing a hat-trick after adding Listed honours at Chester last time. She showed a likeable attitude to prevail there and, with her confidence clearly high, can take another step forward in a race that doesn't look the deepest of its type. Arisaig wasn't disgraced in Group 2 company at Royal Ascot and her previous consistency gives her solid claims back at Listed level, while Mobberley Rose is taking a sizeable jump in class but has shown enough ability in a short career to suggest she could outrun likely odds.
