DEAR SIRE accounted for a decent field when winning at Bangor a month ago and even a 7lb rise for that victory may not be enough to stop him from taking this contest as well. Esprit De Baileys and Percy fought out the finish of a similar race over C&D a few weeks ago and they should be in the mix once again, while John Constable and Teqany complete the shortlist.
The fact his losing run stretches back over a long period is a concern, yet JOHN CONSTABLE highlighted he still has plenty to offer when runner-up in a C&D event on his latest outing and could well be worth chancing to go one place better with forecast conditions very much in his favour. Last-time-out winners Dear Sire and Esprit de Baileys may be the pair to give him most to think about.
ESPLANANDE has impressively notched a Belterra double and she is strongly fancied to complete the hat-trick. Uptown chased home the selection last time and could do so again, although Alexandria is also unbeaten in two and warrants respect.
There are a few with fair runs in the bank but there are also debutantes bred to fly jumping from plum draws. The one to watch could be I'M READY who could turn out to be well named. She is bred to be fast but all of FLYMEHERE, SPREE and IRISH BELLE need to be closely watched. Follow the betting moves.BELLA'S FORTUNE and LAVU LAVU both made fair debuts and should come on with those experiences but LAVU LAVU has drawn badly. Watch her earlier run before making an assessment.
