Verdict

CRIMSON SPIRIT continued his good run of form when landing a 20-runner handicap at Glorious Goodwood last week and there should be more to come remaining at this level. A 4lb rise from the assessor looks more than fair and he's taken to follow up at the main expense of Moonshine. The three-year-old is progressing nicely and her latest triumph at Kempton suggests that another bold bid is imminent. Pellitory could be in the mix judged on his penultimate second at York.

CRIMSON SPIRIT arrives in excellent form after landing a competitive handicap at Glorious Goodwood and, despite a 4lb rise, looks capable of following up with Tom Marquand in the saddle. Moonshine impressed when winning comfortably at Kempton to make it two wins in her last three starts last time and looks capable of posing another dangerous challenge switched back to turf despite still seeking her first win on the surface. Christian David shaped better than the bare result when fifth but only beaten by a couple of lengths up in class at Ascot last time and, now dropped back into lower grade company from a mark below his last winning rating, he looks a major contender.
