Verdict

ROSA INGLESA failed to give a true account in a Listed race in France most recently and is worth another chance with her sights lowered back here. The daughter of Lope Y Fernandez had previously been progressive, supplementing a handicap success at Nottingham with a commendable third in the Sandringham at the Royal meeting. That preceded her notching a C&D win on her penultimate start, where the reopposing Nanino Niyati was a close-up fourth. Charlie Fellowes' filly can uphold the form over this trip. The unexposed Date Line and Luna Celeste, who steps up in class bidding for a three-timer, also warrant close inspection.

Tom Clover's filly LUNA CELESTE is thriving having won three of her last four starts, including the last two in handicaps, and she's taken to complete the hat-trick here despite competing off 7lb higher. The danger looks to be Seren Star, who was in fine form until taken abroad last time, although Nanino Niyati finished a fine second at Glorious Goodwood and Rosa Inglesa should be happier back in a handicap. The latter pair are respected also.
