Ed Walker Stable Tour

Form profile

Winner of three of her 8 starts and currently rated 102. Made a winning reappearance in a listed fillies event at Kempton (1m) in April when beating Preening a length. Agrotera runs in the Duke Of Cambridge on Wednesday and she got back on track at Kempton when winning the Listed Snowdrop Stakes after being a little disappointing in the second half of last year.

Trainer says

She is a big strong filly who has done well from three to four and we are extremely excited about her this year. We wanted to keep her fresh for Ascot and it has been the plan since she crossed the line at Kempton.

Form profile

Winner of two of his 15 starts and currently rated 84. Came closest to victory this term when runner-up, beaten three quarters of a length to Erissimus Maximus at Windsor (6f) in May off his current mark.

Trainer says

I think he is going to have a really good year and he was unlucky not to win at Windsor and hated Epsom. He might run this weekend and on six or seven furlongs and fast ground he is going to get better and better.

Form profile

Winner of two of his 5 starts and currently rated 90. Returned to winning form when beating Ventura Knight half a length at Newmarket (1m 2f) this month off a mark of 86.

Trainer says

He is a lovely horse that won at Newmarket recently. He disappointed on his seasonal return at Newmarket but Liam (Keniry) gave him a lovely introduction after a long layoff and they went slow then sprinted up the dip. I would love to try and squeeze him into the John Smith’s Cup at York. He runs at Chelmsford on Wednesday.

Form profile

Winner of three of her 10 starts and currently rated 93. Gained her last success at Ascot (6f) in September when scoring by a nose from Ice Lord off a mark of 91.

Trainer says

She is a lovely filly and the plan with her was the Wokingham but she won’t get in. She got sick in the Spring after her disappointing run at Newbury and has taken time to come back. She is now back and we will see where we go but she could have a big Summer.

Form profile

Winner of three of his 11 starts and currently rated 84. Completed a hat trick when beating Al Kout a neck at Haydock (1m 6f) in September off a mark of 80.

Trainer says

He won three last year and went jumping through the Winter which he didn’t take too. He is back in training with me now and he needs soft ground and he could have a good Autumn.

Form profile

Winner of three of his 19 starts and currently rated 78. Finished third, beaten half a length, to Pennsylvania Dutch at Goodwood (6f) in June off his current mark.

Trainer says

He was unlucky not to win at Goodwood last time and he is very versatile with the ground. He could have a good year as a bigger stronger four-year-old and he’s not done a lot wrong.

Form profile

Winner of four of her 18 starts and currently rated 105. Returned to winning form in a listed event at Musselburgh (7f) this month when scoring by a length and a half from Wisdom Mind.

Trainer says

She runs in the Duke of Cambridge and she won a listed race at Musselburgh very easily last time out and she has some very good form in the book. We are going to see how she runs at Ascot on Wednesday and decide whether we go back to North America to try and win a Grade 1 over there or whether we have a crack at something like the Rothschild or the Falmouth.

Form profile

Winner of four of her 14 starts and currently rated 77. Returned to winning form at Salisbury (5f) on Sunday when beating Youkan two and three quarter lengths off her current mark.

Trainer says

She won well at Salisbury on Sunday and is a very fast filly who I think is going to have a good year when she gets her required soft ground. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her pop up in better races in the Autumn.

Form profile

Winner of one of her 8 starts and currently rated 81. Scored by a length and a quarter from Ballyquin at Ascot (6f) in May off a mark of 75 and followed up at Windsor (6f) last night off her new mark when beating Equitation a neck.

Trainer says

She gave us a nice boost for the week ahead when winning at Windsor last night and is going the right way. She has taken a long time to mature but she is there now and has really found her stride. She could have a really good season but needs a bit of cut in the ground.

Form profile

Winner of five of his 16 starts and currently rated 86. Unplaced both starts this season at Goodwood (5f) in May and Epsom (6f) in June.

Trainer says

He is a lovely Sprinter who needs rattling quick ground. Goodwood and Epsom didn’t suit and back on a conventional track, hopefully, we can get him back in the winner’s enclosure.

Form profile

Winner of eight of his 27 starts and currently rated 114. Winner of both of his starts this year – scoring by a neck from Madita in a Group 3 in Dusseldorf (1m) in April and beating Anda Muchacho four lengths in a Group 2 at Capannelle (1m 1f) in May.

Trainer says

He runs in the Queen Anne and is a remarkably consistent stable star who deserves to win a Group 1. If he doesn’t win the Queen Anne then we will be looking at a Group 1 in Munich that he nearly won last year.

Form profile

Winner of one of her 4 starts and currently rated 83. Finished second, beaten a length and three quarters, to Bella Vita in a handicap at Salisbury (1m 2f) in May.

Trainer says

She is a lovely filly and she possibly didn’t stay when coming to win her race at Salisbury in May and just got outstayed by a filly of Eve Johnson Houghton’s who has won again since. She is Agrotera’s half sister and she could well have a good Summer.

Form profile

Winner of one of his 4 starts and currently rated 81. Came good at Haydock (6f) this month when scoring by two and a quarter lengths from Glorious Emaraty off a mark of 75

Trainer says

He won well on his handicap debut on very heavy ground at Haydock and he could have a very progressive season. He is a big horse and will be even better next year.

Form profile

Winner of two of his 5 starts and currently rated 103. Creditable efforts both starts this term. Finished runner-up, beaten half a length, to Cape Of Good Hope in the Listed Blue Riband Trial at Epsom (1m 2f) in April and subsequently fourth, beaten five and a quarter lengths, to Anthony Van Dyke in the Listed Lingfield Derby Trial at Lingfield (1m 3 1/2f) in May.

Trainer says

He is a lovely horse and was arguably unlucky in the Blue Riband Trial and didn’t quite stay in the Lingfield Derby Trial. He is dropping back to ten furlongs for the Hampton Court on Thursday and he goes there with a great chance.

Form profile

Winner of one of his 4 starts and currently rated 68. Scored by two lengths from London Eye on his first run since being gelded at Goodwood (1m 2f) in May off a mark of 64.

Trainer says

He won on his handicap debut at Goodwood and he was an immature type who we gave plenty of time between races. Hopefully, he can have a progressive season. I trained his dam and she didn’t run her best race until her five-year-old season when she won a listed race and this guy should have a progressive campaign.

Form profile

Winner of two of his four starts and currently rated 92. Gained his first success for the stable when beating Maamora a short head in a novice event at Chelmsford (1m 2f) in May.

Trainer says

He is a lovely big horse but with the rain around I think I am going to duck that and wait. I will probably bring him back to a mile and a quarter as I am not convinced he stayed a mile and a half in the Cocked Hat at Goodwood. He is a big raw framed horse who will get better and better with time.

Form profile

Winner of one of her 7 starts and currently rated 85. Finished fourth, beaten five and a quarter lengths, to Artistic Rifles in a handicap at Doncaster (1m) in May off her current mark.

Trainer says

She might run in the Sandringham. She was a but disappointing last time but she bumped into a group of horses where the form has worked out very well. She wasn’t quite herself that day but she is back to her best and I wouldn’t be surprised to see her run a nice race at Ascot.

Form profile

Winner of one his 3 starts and currently rated 82. Finished fifth, beaten 17 lengths, to Telecaster in a novice event at Windsor (1m 2f) in April.

Trainer says

He was disappointing at Windsor when he got into a sort of speed battle with Telecaster and paid the price. He wasn't quite right afterwards and he is now back and could run at Goodwood on Friday. I think he could make into a nice middle distance horse.

Form profile

Winner of one of his 5 starts and currently rated 98. Better effort at Newcastle (7f) in May on his reappearance when second, beaten half a length, to Dubai Legacy off a mark of 97.

Trainer says

He runs in the Britannia Handicap and he is a lightly raced horse who has done nothing wrong. He has loads of ability and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him run at big race at Ascot on Thursday.

Form profile

Winner of two of her 3 starts and currently rated 90. Scored by six lengths from Gaslight in a novice event at Kempton (7f) in May on latest start.

Trainer says

She runs in the Sandringham on Friday and is a talented filly. It is probably her last run for us before she goes to America. She has been bought by an American and I can see her running a huge race in the Sandringham.

Form profile

Better effort on his reappearance at Lingfield (7f) in June when runner-up, beaten half a length, to Heroic.

Trainer says

He ran well on his second ever start at Lingfield and hopefully can head to Beverley on June 25 to break his maiden before going onto better things. He will be a solid horse going handicapping.

Form profile

Winner of one of his 5 starts and currently rated 99. Finished third, beaten three and a half lengths, to Hello Youmzain in the Group 2 Sandy Lane Stakes at Haydock (6f) in May

Trainer says

She is a very fast filly and she runs in the Commonwealth Cup on Friday. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her stay seven furlongs in time now she is relaxing better but she is exceptionally talented and ran a big race in the Sandy Lane. I can see her running into a place in the Commonwealth Cup all being well.

Form profile

No wins from 5 starts and currently rated 74. Finished third, beaten two and a quarter lengths, to Conundrum at Leicester (1m 2f) in May off his current mark.

Trainer says

He is a nice handicapper who should improve as the year goes on. He has been an immature type and he was a little unlucky at Leicester where he got too far back in a slowly run race. He needs top of the ground and is certainly handicapped to win races.

Form profile

No wins from 4 starts and currently rated 74. Finished fifth, beaten four and three quarter lengths, to Dancin Boy in a handicap at Redcar (1m 2f) in May off a mark of 75.

Trainer says

He will be a progressive handicapper over a mile and a half and on fast ground. He could be a nice horse to go to war with later in the Summer.

Form profile

No wins from 4 starts and currently rated 66. Unplaced all starts.

Trainer says

He’s a big boy who will possibly need gelding but could eventually find his way.

Form profile

Winner of one of her 7 starts and currently rated 97. Probably best effort when fourth, beaten three and three quarter lengths, to Magnetic Charm in a listed contest at York (1m) in May.

Trainer says

She is a lovely filly who has been slightly disappointing this season through no fault of her own. She is going to go to Carlisle for a listed race next week.

Form profile

Placed in all three starts and currently rated 82. Finished third, beaten a head, to Mohaather at Nottingham (6f) in October when last seen out.

Trainer says

He has very good form from last year and we are waiting for some fast ground. He is a talented horse and he can hopefully make and impact in valuable six furlong handicaps.

Form profile

Winner of two of his ten starts and currently rated 88. Unplaced three starts this year.

Trainer says

He has been disappointing this year but for whatever reason it just hasn’t happened yet. He is very fast and I think he will come good later in the year.
