I’m giving her a break now. She’s won three bumpers already and we’ll aim her at the Graded mares’ bumper at the Dublin Racing Festival. That’s her main target of the season. I don’t think she’ll ever be one to send chasing, so we’ll be happy to take our time and go novice hurdling with her next season.

He was very impressive in both his starts last season, but he was very hard on himself both days. I’m hoping that hurdles will help settle him down. He needs to settle better and learn how to race. He won’t get away with being that free when he steps up in class over hurdles. On pedigree, he’s bred to stay well, but with his method of racing at the moment, he is probably a Supreme Novices’ Hurdle horse.
