Progressive colt who made his way from handicap company to a winning a Group 3 over 1m4f. However, things did not go to plan when he failed to threaten when stepped up to Group 2 company in the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Trainer says

He will run the Grand Prix de Deauville. I hope he will have a great chance in that race. He didn’t have a good run in the Hardwicke Stakes at Ascot. The ground was a bit too quick, and he seemed a bit nervous that day and maybe he wasn’t in the best of forms. It just didn’t really go to plan. He is an improving colt, and the Group 2 in Deauville is a good target for him. He will prefer a bit of cut in the ground, so hopefully we will get that.

Hardly ever out of the first three, she was not beaten far when runner-up in the Group 3 Prix de Ris-Orange over 6 furlongs in July.

She is going to run in the Prix de Meautry. It’s a Group 3 race over 6 furlongs. She was runner-up in another Group 3 race the other day and is currently in great form. She has come on from her last race and loves fast ground.

After winning his maiden last year, he was successful on his second start in a mile handicap and recently produced a good performance when third to a seasoned opponent in a 9-furlong handicap.

He is very consistent, but he had to run on fast or good ground, which he doesn’t like. He is ready to win when he gets his ground. I haven’t decided yet which race he is going to target, because that will depend on the weather, but he could target a race like the Grand Handicap de Deauville.

She is running on Monday in the Prix Robertet, which is a 9-furlong race on turf. Her last run in the Prix de Graignes was very good. She ran last in January and so this was more or less her seasonal reappearance, and she was only beaten a head. I think she will have a great chance.

He is another Wathnan horse who came to me from England, where he had won a race. We found it difficult to find the right race for him in France, but who is now well-handicapped and should have a chance to finally win his race.
