He has been a fun horse over the Winter and he ran a very creditable race at Chester last week where he finished well after being buffeted around a bit. He needs a bit of juice in the ground really.

He works well at home but has proved disappointing in his two starts for us. He never got going in the Spring Trophy on Saturday and we will have to go back to the drawing board with him.

He has been great really and won three of his last four. He is going for the Sky Bet Sunday Series up at Hamilton on Sunday. There is a mile and six race up there and if he was to win that he might, potentially, get a look at something like the Copper Horse at Royal Ascot.

He never really fired in the Victoria Cup and we will have to go back to the drawing board with him.

He has been a revelation going around a bend at Wolverhampton and Southwell. There are a few nice opportunities this week on the turf.

He is real ground dependent and I think he’s a Northumberland Plate horse. The aim will to get him high enough to get into a Northumberland Plate and there is a race over two miles at Thirsk and if it’s soft ground he will go there and then onto the Plate.

He won really well on his stable debut at Thirsk and he won like a well handicapped horse. He will go to third on May 16 over seven furlongs and I will keep him to seven furlongs for the time being. I think he likes a bend and I am intrigued to find out if he is a Bunbury Cup horse.

She ran well on her reappearance at Thirsk and didn’t have the best of luck in running when fourth at Chester on Friday. She goes for the Apprentice race at Chester on Friday. The aim with her is to get her up to the black type sort of level for her owner/breeders and if we can do that we will have done our job. She will be running in some nice fillies’ handicaps for the rest of the year.

She was really impressive on her seasonal debut at Musselburgh. She has come out of that race good and she has gone up to 96 now and she will go for a Listed Fillies’ at Haydock at the end of this month.

We expected her to run well at Nottingham on Saturday but she found the ground too fast for her and didn’t perform to her best. She could be a fun little handicapper but she definitely wants a bit of juice in the ground to be seen to best effect.

He is back in training and his main aim is the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood and then we will probably go for the Prix de la Foret. He might run once before Goodwood and we could look at the Criterion Stakes at York or the Chipchase at Newcastle on the same day.

He ran a very good race to finish second to Mr Colonel at Redcar and the winner went onto finish third in the Derby Trial at Chester. All being well he will go to Nottingham on May 19. He is a talented horse and I would imagine he’ll be a real nice horse this Autumn.

She made her reappearance at Haydock on Saturday but was a little disappointing. Hopefully, the race will bring her on and she can do a lot better next time. She needs some juice in the ground so we will plan her campaign accordingly.
