Verdict

Disappointing so far this year, ZENNOR STORM has been gelded since last in action. He looked a useful prospect last term, when winning both starts on the all-weather, and it would be no surprise if William Haggas' three-year-old bounced back to form. Delinquent found life tough in a higher grade last time having won nicely at Hamilton before that, while Frankies Dream has been threatening to resume winning ways and could have a say if building on his recent close second at the track.

Top Tip: Zennor Storm (12)
Watch out for: Delinquent (16)

Zennor Storm looked a really useful prospect when winning his first two starts, both on AW, but he has failed to beat a rival in two spins on turf. He's newly gelded, though, and could yet come good so victory for him, off a reduced mark, would be no surprise at all. Delinquent is another interesting 3yo, but the form of his Carlisle fifth hasn't worked out. Let's instead go with ANDESITE, who is drawn wide but ran well over 7f at the course last time and looks to be crying out for the return to 1m. Golden Strike, a 7f winner here last time, and Wild Nature, in good form and likely to be suited by the retutn to 1m, are others to consider.
