ANNIVERSARY might not need to improve much on his latest second-placed effort at Salisbury in order to strike. Beaten less than a length on that occasion, it was certainly a step in the right direction and his supporters will be encouraged to see that Rossa Ryan keeps the ride. Pole Star is taken to go well for a rejuvenated Charlie Johnston stable, and it's worth considering Minstrel Knight too.
A strong contest where plenty of the field can be given a chance. Minor preference is for ANNIVERSARY who showed a willing attitude when runner up last time and should appreciate this return to 2m. He likely has more to offer as a 4yo and can defeat Hermetic who was a winner over this far in France. He shaped with plenty of promise on his stable debut over 12f and looks on a competitive mark so should go close if handling this quicker surface. New York Minute enjoyed a productive winter on the AW and has proven consistent in defeat since. He's another who will appreciate the step up in trip and he should be on the premises.
