Final Night has been very consistent throughout the season and has been getting into the frame without quite bagging a big handicap. We’ve a got a race on October 2 picked out for him at Ascot and it will probably be his final grass race of the season. He has just been a little bit unlucky, and it would be nice if he could gain his reward for several solid efforts.

She has only won on race and been a little bit in and out, but she runs at Kempton next week. She will make a lovely broodmare and she is rated 83. Hopefully, we can win something with her before the season ends.

Senor Cortez has been a massive improver on the AW this season and completed a hat-trick at Kempton in August. He ran well at Goodwood, and he was going to run in the Cesarewitch Trial at Newmarket the other day, but the ground was too quick. We will be aiming for the Cesarewitch next and fingers crossed he will get in. Ideally, he would want a bit of cut in the ground and, hopefully, the rain will come sooner rather than later.

He has been a star for us and won ten races. He runs at Haydock on Friday and he is another who will mix it with the All-Weather. We will see how he is, but we might retire him at the end of the season.

Split Elevens is a yard favourite, and he finished second at Yarmouth the other day. He has won 14 races for us, and he will go to Brighton on Monday and then back on the All-Weather.

Spring Bloom has been unbelievably consistent during the summer and won two on the July course, which he loves. He’ll probably have a break now, but he is one to keep an eye on next year when he gets the right race on the July course.

Shadow Road in a very exciting horse and he could have his first run on the grass at York’s October meeting. If he can reproduce his All-Weather form on the grass we could be looking forward to some further excitement and looks a grand prospect.
