Verdict

Forest Berry has looked a different proposition since sporting a hood, winning at Wolverhampton and Musselburgh, but an added 6lb makes things tougher. A mark of 71 seems fair for Pequenita on her nursery debut following her recent second at Lingfield, but WOODHAY WAYFARER is preferred. She ran on strongly to win at Newmarket and a fast-run race here would play to her strengths.

Handicap debutante Pequenita surely has a bigger effort in her now handicapping as she went a little too fast in front last time. She represents top connections and an opening mark of 71 might underestimate her but FOREST BERRY is thriving at present, improving for the step up to 8f last time when scoring at Musselburgh, and the return to AW clearly won't be an issue with a winner at Wolverhampton the time before. Woodhay Wayfarer, a winner on her handicap debut at Newmarket's July course, is respected also with her new mark fair.
