Verdict

Kaaranah has won four of his last six starts at Wolverhampton and the veteran seemingly reserves his very best for that venue. With that in mind, a chance can be taken on BARBURY BOY, who had been improving before a lacklustre Sandown effort, which can be forgiven because he did miss the break on that occasion. Booziebrunch is also noted.

Watch out for: Kaaranah (1)

KAARANAH has been thriving on the AW, completing a double when scoring at Wolverhampton last time, also marking a fourth win in six starts, and is now seeking a hat-trick. A 4lb rise demands more, but he remains progressive and could have more to offer yet. Jack Sparowe has remained in good form since winning at Yarmouth three starts ago and shaped well when third at Wolverhampton last time, so he should be competitive again from the same mark. Barry's Boy returned to his form when runner-up stepped up in trip as far as 9.5f for the first time at Wolverhampton and can go well again if building on that effort.
