Verdict

QUADRILLION has a very likeable pedigree and it would be disappointing for connections if the daughter of Kingman weren't able to have an impact off an opening mark of 75 on her handicap debut. There are dangers aplenty and Victory Ace and Doodling command respect as last-time-out winners. Piscean Star has been gelded since he was last seen and could also have a say if raring to go on his first start since September.

DOODLING just did enough to open her account when scoring by the narrowest of margins at Bath last time and, with proven form over a range of trips including a good effort over C&D on her second start in April, se can go well again despite a step back up. Jumeirah Sands has been largely consistent in her career, including picking up two wins at Southwell, and shaped well again when narrowly denied at Wolverhampton. With this step up in trip expected to suit, she remains open to further improvement. Victory Ace showed a good attitude to score at Newcastle and, although he may ultimately be suited by further in time, can still be competitive at this trip.
