Verdict

Spring Bloom arrives in fine fettle and ended a barren spell when successful over C&D earlier in the month. That could prove stronger form than Robert Anstruther's recent victory at Nottingham, but JIMMY KNOCKER looks primed for a return to winning ways. He posted his best effort since landing this contest last year when narrowly defeated at Newbury earlier in the month and Andi Brown's charge is taken to go one better.

SPRING BLOOM can continue his excellent course record. He has run back into form recently and remains well treated on his old efforts despite a 2lb rise for his latest C&D victory. Tanmawwy is now 6lb below his last winning mark and hinted at a revival last time. He remains unexposed at 6f and could pose a big challenge along with last time out winner Robert Anstruther who may have a bit more to offer now he's had his head in front.
