He was very unlucky last time at Uttoxeter when he was brought down. The jockey was convinced he would have won, and he will run over the Christmas period.

He has done well, and the Reynoldstown Chase at Ascot is his ultimate aim but he might well have a run before that.

Does He Know did well for us last year and won a good long-distance handicap at Cheltenham. He is having an awayday this week with the view of coming back over the Christmas period or just after.

Espoir De Romay ran better than his placing would suggest at Newbury last time. He has come out of his race fine and has come down a couple of pounds. He will definitely win between now and the end of the season.

He goes to Huntingdon on Sunday for the Peterborough Chase if it takes place. The Castleford Chase which he has won before is 0-150 so he is not qualified, and we are struggling big time. There is an open-ended handicap at Kempton the day after Boxing Day and if the ground was soft enough we would have to think about it.

We have had him in twice recently and both times it’s been abandoned. He is in at Chepstow on Saturday, and he has been an unlucky horse. He has gone up 10lb for falling at the last at Warwick which is very unfair for him. It takes him into a different criteria and we are trying to find a suitable race for him which is not the easiest of tasks. He also prefers going left-handed.

He is a having a mid-winter break and will come back for a spring campaign, He is a progressive horse, and he will jump a fence.

She has done well for us this season and she put in another creditable effort at Market Rasen on Thursday. She will now be given a break, and we will bring her back for the spring.
