Form profile

Southwell bumper winner who finished runner-up, beaten three lengths, to Imperial Flem in a novices hurdle at Southwell (2m 1/2f) in October.

Trainer says

He ran well the other day at Stratford and he will improve for the race and for a step up in trip.

Form profile

Winner of his only point-to-point in Ireland in April.

Trainer says

He won his point-to-point in Ireland and he will take his time coming together. I can see him winning a bumper and going hurdling next season.

Form profile

Winner of seven of his 26 starts and currently rated 155 over fences. Finished last of seven, beaten 24 lengths, to Janika in the Grade 2 Haldon Gold Cup Limited Handicap Chase at Exeter (2m 1 1/2f) last week off his current mark.

Trainer says

He was disappointing the other day and he has had a back operation in the past. I just wonder if it is catching him out and we will look into it and hopefully still go for the Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon which he won last year. However, everything is on hold at the moment.

Form profile

Winner of four of his 11 starts and currently rated 135 over fences. Finished runner-up, beaten three quarters of a length, to Virginia Chick in a novices chases at Exeter (3m) last week.

Trainer says

He has been very unlucky to finish second in both of his chases. He is a lovely horse and deserves to win his novice chase and he has had a good record for us.

Form profile

Winner of five of his 14 starts and currently rated 134 over fences. Finished third, beaten 11 lengths, to Golden Sunrise in a handicap chase at Exeter (3m) in October off a mark of 135.

Trainer says

I am very fond of Cresswell Legend and he has been a little unlucky not to win more races. He won a novice chase at Ludlow last season but the ground was quite quick and it rather stumped him up. He had a nice run around at Exeter the other day when finishing third and he will have entries in the next couples of week. We will look for some decent ground for him as he doesn’t want it too soft.

Form profile

Winner of five of his 12 starts and currently rated 145. Finished runner-up, beaten eight lengths, to Mysteree in a handicap chase at Kelso (3m 2f) in October off his current mark.

Trainer says

I was disappointed when he was beaten on his reappearance at Kelso but he was well beat so it may have been a good race. He is not the easiest horse to place and something like the Rehearsal Chase would be in mind if the ground is ok.

Form profile

Winner of three of her nine starts and currently rated 126 over hurdles. Finished fifth, beaten 24 lengths, to Lady Buttons in a listed mares hurdle at Wetherby (2m) this month.

Trainer says

She has come down a few pounds in the handicap as a result of her run the other day and she cannot go on soft ground. There is a mares handicap hurdle at Ludlow in three weeks time which I will be aiming her at provided the ground is decent.

Form profile

Point-to-Point winner and finished second, beaten four and a half lengths, to Milkwood in a maiden hurdle at Hereford (2m) in October on stable debut.

Trainer says

He had his first run for us at Hereford and ran a very promising second. It was difficult to work out what the forms like but he was definitely green and he won’t be green next time. He runs at Ludlow on Thursday.

Form profile

Winner of his only point-to-point.

Trainer says

He is going to go novice hurdling before going novice chasing and he looks the sort we will probably have to get three runs into and get him handicapped.  He will start in a couple of week’s time.

Form profile

Winner of one of his 7 starts and currently rated 124 over fences. Finished fourth, beaten four and a half lengths, to Deyrann De Carjac in a novices chase at Huntingdon (2m 4f) this month.

Trainer says

I was very pleased with his run at Huntingdon the other day and we will look for a novice handicap chase of some description over the Christmas period or just before. He likes good ground and he should do well.

Form profile

Winner of three of his 8 starts and currently rated 140 over fences. Finished runner-up, beaten four lengths, to Summerville Boy on his chasing bow at Uttoxeter (2m) this month.

Trainer says

He was another who pleased me with his first run over fences even though he didn’t jump as well as I had hoped. It looked like he would win at one stage and wants to go right handed next time.

Form profile

No wins from 5 starts. Finished third, beaten 24 lengths, to Craigmor on his hurdling bow at Wincanton (2m 5 1/2f) in May.

Trainer says

He has had a back operation and a wind operation and has loads of ability. If they have worked he will win his race but he will need good ground.

Form profile

Made a winning debut for the stable when scoring by 11 lengths from Mercy Mercy Me in a maiden hurdle at Stratdford (2m 6f) in October.

Trainer says

He possibly run at Cheltenham this weekend and was very impressive when winning at Stratford last month. I don’t know how good the form was but he is a very nice horse. He is a chaser not a hurdler and whatever he does this season is a huge bonus.

Form profile

Winner of one of his 4 starts and currently rated 122 over hurdles. Unseated his rider at the second in a novices handicap chase won by Simply The Better at Chepstow (2m) last week off a mark of 122.

Trainer says

He unseated his rider at Chepstow last week which was very disappointing. He is actually a very good jumper and I think he was just so excited to be back on a racecourse that he was just a bit too free. He should soon put that effort behind.

Form profile

No wins from 3 starts over hurdles and currently rated 114. Finished runner-up, beaten half a length, to Petit Palais in a novice at Stratford (2m 1/2f) in March

Trainer says

There’s a mare’s handicap hurdle for her in a couple of week’s time. She has one good run over hurdles which gave her a handicap mark which may be higher than deserved but having said that she should still win a race or two.

Form profile

Winner of three of his 5 starts and currently rated 136 over hurdles. Pleasing reappearance in the Grade 3 Silver Trophy Handicap Hurdle at Chepstow (2m 3 1/2f) in October when third, beaten four lengths to Flash The Steel off a mark of 133.

Trainer says

We schooled him over fences last week and the plan is to go novice chasing with him. He will want three miles over fences and we will look for a suitable race in two or three weeks time.

Form profile

Winner of his second point-to-point in Ireland in March.

Trainer says

He is an ex point-to-pointer from Ireland and wouldn’t be a flashy horse in any way and I am going down the hurdle route rather than the bumper route.

Form profile

Unraced

Trainer says

He will run in a bumper in the next couple of weeks and he is a full brother to Prince Llywelyn who did so well for us. It would be great if he was as nice as him.

Form profile

Winner of three of his 8 starts and currently rated 138 over fences. Finished highly creditable third, beaten six and a quarter lengths, to Mulcahys Hill on his chasing bow at Cheltenham (3m 1/2f) in October.

Trainer says

He ran well at Cheltenham and, again, is a horse that would probably want better ground. He will go wherever we can find it and he is a nice little horse who been fun to play around with.

Form profile

Winner of both of his bumpers at Haydock in December and on the second occasion scored by a length from Highway Companion.

Trainer says

We are hoping he starts off in a novice hurdle at Wetherby on Saturday. He has good bumper form but he doesn’t show an awful lot at home and doesn’t give the impression he is a speed machine but obviously has a big engine.

Form profile

Winner of three of his 6 starts and currently rated 138 over hurdles. Successful in a handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (3m) in April when beating Iwilldoit off a mark of 125 and made a winning reappearance in a novice chase there on Sunday (3m) when scoring by two and a half lengths from Sweet Reprieve

Trainer says

He was having his first novice chase at Ffos Las on Sunday and all went to plans when he ran out a convincing winner despite idling in the closing stages. We were delighted with his performance and we will look for something similar in due course.

Form profile

Unraced

Trainer says

He is another who is heading down the bumper route and he is very much a chaser in the making but he will run well when he does run.

Form profile

Winner of a bumper at Wetherby in March when beating Big Bad Bob a neck and runner-up in two similar events.

Trainer says

He goes to Ascot on the weekend of November 22 and 23 for a novice hurdle. He is a lovely horse and is 17 hands.

Form profile

Winner of two of his 5 starts and currently rated 145 over hurdles. Fell three out in a chase won by Champ at Newbury (2m 6 1/2f) last Thursday.

Trainer says

He fell in a very competitive chase at Newbury on Thursday and was an unlucky horse last year. He should have won at Ludlow but they watered very heavily and he did the splits and pulled all the muscle in his chest.

Form profile

Winner of three of his 12 races on the Flat and rated 80. Gained his last success at Ripon (1m 2f) in August.

Trainer says

He was a decent flat horse and he has had a wind operation and a back operation before he came to me. He jumps very well and looks a nice sort of horse.

Form profile

Winner of six of his 18 starts and currently rated 145 over fences. Pulled up in a handicap chase won by The Conditional at Cheltenham (3m 1f) in October off a mark of 147.

Trainer says

He hated every single moment of it a Cheltenham the other day in a race where there was a deluge and the ground was riding heavy. He goes to either Newbury on Ladbroke Trophy weekend for a two mile six handicap chase or for the Rehearsal Chase.

Form profile

Winner of one of his three bumpers when getting off the mark at Huntingdon in March.

Trainer says

I was going to run him this week but he didn’t school very well so we will give him a bit more time. He won his bumper and his last run you can forget as he was all wrong.

Form profile

Scored by nine lengths from Highway One O Two in a bumper at Stratford in October.

Trainer says

He will stay in bumpers this season and will go for one of the listed or Championship bumpers. He has has two runs in bumpers and has another three runs in bumpers this season.

Form profile

Winner of four of his 14 starts and currently rated 133 over fences. Finished fifth, beaten 31 lengths, to Anteros in a novices handicap chase at Hereford (3m 1f) in October off a mark of 135.

Trainer says

He goes possibly to Cheltenham or Bangor this week depending on what the race look like. He was second in the race at Cheltenham last year and could go back there.

Form profile

Winner of two of her 3 bumpers and ended the season with a five length victory from Vienna Court at Chepstow in March.

Trainer says

She was due to run a couple of weeks ago but had a dirty trachea wash and we will know this week whether it has cleared up. She will run in a mares novice hurdle and she jumps very well. Her bumper form was very good and let’s hope we can find a suitable race for her.

Form profile

Winner of a point-to-point in Ireland in April.

Trainer says

He is entered this week and has done everything I have asked him at home. He is a winning point-to-pointer by Yeats and very much a chaser rather than a hurdler but he ought to win a hurdle race.

Form profile

Unraced

Trainer says

He is a lovely horse by Flemensfirth who has not raced and he will run in bumpers this season.

Form profile

Winner of five of his 8 starts and currently rated 132 over fences. Made a winning reappearance in a novices handicap chase at Carlisle (2m 4f) in October when scoring by a length and a half from I’m To Blame off a mark of 132.

Trainer says

I was delighted with his win at Carlisle and if they all jumped as well as he did my life would be easy. He’s a lovely horse and I’m thrilled with him.

Form profile

Winner of seven of his 9 starts and currently rated 160. Made a winning reappearance in the Grade 3 Sodexo Gold Cup at Ascot (3m) this month when beating Regal Encore five lengths.

Trainer says

He is a lovely horse and he is entered in the King George but I would have to say it would be an unlikely run unless the race  cut up. I have to make the entry and I am not exactly sure where we go next but there is a possibility he could go for the Many Clouds race at Aintree or the handicap at Ascot in December. He hasn’t got form going left handed yet and I am not worried about it but all his wins have been going right handed.

Form profile

Winner of three of his 14 starts and currently rated 140 over fences. Made a winning reappearance in a handicap chase at Wincanton (3m 2 1/2f) in October when scoring by half a length from Beau Du Brizais off a mark of 135.

Trainer says

He won at Wincanton recently probably by default but the handicapper doesn’t seem to think so and put him up 5lb. He might go to the Becher Chase.

Form profile

Winner of three of her 5 starts and currently rated 114 over hurdles. Has won both of her novice hurdles and scored by six lengths from Bbold when gaining her latest success at Ludlow (2m 5f) in October.

Trainer says

She is a good ground mare and won a couple of novice hurdle and has a reasonable handicap mark. Ground is relevant to her and it would be a waste of time running her on soft ground and she also needs to go left handed.
