Trainer says

He won well on his debut at Exeter last season. We were thinking of running him in the Listed bumper at Cheltenham on Sunday but he has been schooling really nicely so we are going to kick on over hurdles. He is all set to start in the next couple of weeks over two miles. Having made such a promising start we have high hopes for him.

I was really pleased with his comeback run at Bangor. After a schooling fall last year, it was a case of him enjoying a confidence booster and getting round and he did that. He was given a lovely ride by Sean Bowen and just tired turning in. He wasn’t fully wound up and that should have just put him spot on for the Welsh National in about six weeks’ time - that is where we are heading. Unfortunately, he didn’t make the race last year when he was favourite; hopefully we can get there this time around. We know he likes the track and the testing conditions which are usually prevailing.

He is an unraced four-year-old by Walk In The Park and he is doing everything nicely. He will be ready to get started in the next month. We will find how good he is on the racecourse.

He runs at Exeter on Monday (finished 4th) and he has been a work in progress and learning on the job. His third run will be for a mark and we hope to see him to better effect in handicaps.

I was delighted with his return to fences when successful at Newton Abbot. He was put up another 4lb without running when the runner-up won which is slightly frustrating but he is set to go to Ascot on Saturday for the valuable two-mile handicap chase. He obviously won’t have the experience of some of the others but let’s hope he is on the way up the ladder and is more unexposed than some of the others will be. He ran well at the track last year in a Listed handicap hurdle and we are really looking forward to him taking his chance in that race.

Trainer says

He makes his debut at Exeter in the bumper on Monday (finished 3rd) and was last seen winning in Ireland in his point-to-point. We haven’t rushed him and let him come to himself but he is ready to get started and the track should suit and make an encouraging debut for us.

Winner of her point-to-point in Ireland in February and made a winning start for the stable when beating Ruby Island half a length in a bumper at Aintree in October.

She made a very good start for us when successful in the Mares’ bumper at Aintree. She has schooled exceptionally well so we have decided to kick on over hurdles. She will be seen out in the next fortnight, all remaining well and will start anywhere from two to two and a half miles. She is a nice recruit.

He is another one who starts in the bumper at Exeter on Monday (finished 5th) . He is a Soldier Of Fortune gelding who should benefit from the experience and I think win, lose or draw he will be seen over hurdles sooner rather than later. He is going to learn plenty and we are going to learn plenty about him on Monday.

He made his chasing debut at Uttoxeter last month and found two miles on the short side. He jumped really well and it’s probably a race that could work out quite well and he found is form in the spring last year and hopefully he will prove progressive as the season unfolds - particularly in the spring and stepping up in trip.

Trainer says

He is a lovely horse who was third in the EBF Final at Sandown last spring and has a good record of producing chasers. That’s where his future lies and he is set to make his reappearance this week. He has an entry at Ascot on Friday but the preference is to go to Exeter on Sunday for the novices’ handicap chase. His schooling has gone well and we are looking forward to getting him started.

She is another who runs at Exeter on Monday and she will hopefully benefit from her reappearance run at Ffos Las where she needed her first start. That was over two miles and she looked in need of the experience and she stayed on so the trip on Monday will suit. Hopefully, she will run a bit better with that outing under her belt.

He is lovely four-year-old and you can put a line through his last run which was no fault of his own. He is due to run at Exeter on Sunday in a two-mile two furlong handicap hurdle. He does jump so well that we toyed with going straight over fences but we will start him back over hurdles and see where we are.

Trainer says

I was delighted to get her head in front this autumn and she has been successful over fences and hurdles. She was only third at Uttoxeter on Saturday but the trip probably stretched her slightly and the winner won very well. We were treated harshly for winning at Worcester and went up 8lb and she needs to drop a bit in the weights. She will go for the Mares’ Novice Handicap over a short trip at the Cheltenham December meeting.

Trainer says

He surprised us last Monday on rain softened ground at Kempton and has always been a horse we have always campaigned on better ground. We will look to get him out under a penalty this week - he has entries at Warwick, Ascot and Chepstow and Ascot is the more likely. We hope he can go well again before the handicapper reassesses us and then he will probably then have a break until the spring.

He ran a big race in a big field handicap at Punchestown in the spring and ran a very encouraging race in the Greatwood at Cheltenham on Sunday. He has an unexposed profile and, hopefully, he can be progressive in valuable two-mile handicap hurdles.

She is a new recruit and is a well bred filly who is related to Wicklow Brave. She will make her debut this side of Christmas in a bumper and she was runner-up in her point-to-point so is one for the future.

He is a horse by Flemensfirth and we ran in a bumper at Punchestown but the ground wasn’t soft enough for him and we shouldn’t have ran him there. He is all set to go hurdling and is another who will be seen out in the next few weeks. He will probably start at two miles and we will progress from there.

He made his debut for us at Chepstow where he overraced slightly. It will probably work out to be a decent maiden hurdle and we wanted the rain to come that day but it didn’t and he is a typical Westerner and wants plenty of cut. He will, hopefully, take a bit of catching in his next run and we can have a lot of fun with him over hurdles this season. He is very much a chaser in the making.

He had a hold up last Christmas and we have just taken our time to bring him back into work. He has done well for the time and he is another who will be making his debut over hurdles into December. The form of his Wincanton bumper has worked out well and he is a nice novice hurdler in the making.

He made a good start to his career over fences when successful at Ffos Las and he is set to run at Exeter this Sunday where he is set to step up in trip. Hopefully, that will bring about more improvement as he climbs the ladder.

He won his bumper nicely in the Spring for us and then was third in a novice hurdle at Ffos Las on his debut. He probably took a blow going to the last and then ran on well again - the first three came a long way clear and he is bound to come on for that run. Hopefully, we can get him off the mark sooner rather than later.

She is a lovey mare and we have been pulling our hair out a bit with the ground. There was a lovely mares’ handicap at Wincanton last Saturday but the ground was too quick and she went to Bangor on Wednesday but the ground was too testing. She just wants decent ground and making run plans has been a bit of a nightmare. She is set to stay over hurdles and there is a mares’ handicap at Cheltenham December meeting which I would like to run her in. Hopefully, there is more to come from her over the smaller obstacles.

Winner of six of her seven starts and had her finest hour in the Grade 2 Ryanair Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham (2m 1f) in March when beating Ahorsewithnoname a lengths and quarter. Had her colours lowered for the first time when runner-up, beaten eight lengths, to Brandy Love in a Grade 1 Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at Fairyhouse (2m 4f) in April.

Trainer says

She is a brilliantly tough and consistent mare who we are building around going back to Cheltenham for the Mares’ Hurdle next March. The races in the New Year pick themselves. She will go to Sandown on Tolworth Hurdle day and there is a mares’ hurdle at Warwick in the middle of February. There is a two-mile handicap hurdle at Sandown on Tingle Creek day which is looking the most likely starting point at this stage. She has done well and she never shows an awful lot at home but I schooled her the other day and we couldn’t pull her up afterwards. We usually judge her by that and when she gallops she just does what she needs to and saves it for the racecourse which is what matters most.

Trainer says

He is new to us this season and was successful over hurdles at Ffos Las last year. That is where he is set to reappear over fences and he looks a chaser. He has been schooling really well and, hopefully, he can prove successful over the larger obstacles.

She is a consistent mare who I have yet to win with. I think we ran her in probably quite a good mares’ handicap hurdle at Exeter a week ago and we will drop back and run her in 0-100s. I would like to think it won’t be long before she is making most of her handicap mark.

144 rated hurdler and rated 94 on the Flat. Landed the November Handicap at Doncaster (1m 4f) this month off a mark of 89 when beating Teed Up a length and a quarter. Gained his last success over hurdles at Lingfield (2m) in January when scoring by a length and a quarter from Gowel Road off a mark of 139.

Trainer says

It was a real bonus to win the November Handicap with him but we had conditions to suit. We went there with no expectations having not run on the Flat for us and going a mile and a half for the first time but it was a fine ride from Saffie Osborne. We are absolutely delighted to win and the key to him is those ground conditions. We will be waiting for the ground to get his winter campaign under way but he won at the Winter Million meeting at Lingfield last January and we are bound to go back there but in the meantime we could go to Ascot at Christmas for the valuable two mile handicap hurdle that he was fourth in last year. If he gets his conditions, he can still be very competitive off his current rating.

142 rated hurdler. Impressed when beating Thunder Rock 11 lengths in a novices’ hurdle at Newton Abbot (2m 2 ½f) on his hurdling bow last October and lost no caste in defeat in three races after. Finished, runner-up, beaten 14 lengths, to Constitution Hill at Sandown (2m) in December, third, beaten four and three quarter lengths, to Jonbon in a Grade 2 Hurdle at Haydock (1m 7 1/2f) in February and runner-up, beaten four and three quarter lengths, to Three Stripe Life in a Grade 1 Novices’ Hurdle at Aintree (2m 4f) in April.

Trainer says

I still can’t believe we just won one race over hurdles with him last year but we bumped into Constitution Hill trying to concede weight then Jonbon and then finished runner-up in a Grade 1 at Aintree. He is set to reappear at Haydock on Saturday in the valuable staying handicap hurdle on Betfair Chase day. It is a step up in trip but he is a half-brother to Stattler who won the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham in March so we are hopeful he will stay. He is an exciting second season hurdler for us.

Trainer says

He won a nice prize for us at Ascot last January and he came in slightly later than some of the others. He probably won’t appear until Christmas time and I imagine we will have another go at that Ascot race.

He made a good start over fences at Aintree where he did everything bar win. He just took a blow at the last but it is a long season and he is one to keep an eye on when he goes again in December.

He came good over fences last spring and was seen to good effect over three and a half miles at Taunton. We will be looking to get him started at Ascot on Friday - it is a drop in trip and hopefully it is a stepping stone to the London National at Sandown on Tingle Creek day. He is a second season chaser who I hope might progress again and he could be one for a National of some sort in the spring.

She won over hurdles at Newton Abbot in the spring. She ran on nicely at Exeter this month and I wouldn’t be scared to step her up in trip again. All she seems to do is gallop and she is not the easiest of rides with her head carriage but, hopefully, with soft ground and a step up in trip she will be seen to good effect in handicaps.

She is a really tough mare who has given the racing club a lot of fun and she could go to Sandown in December for the Mares Handicap Hurdle and then we could take her back to Ascot in January for the valuable mares’ hurdle that she was third in last year not beaten fat at all.

He has been progressive over hurdles and has been unlucky not to get his head in front the last twice. He was just collared late on in both races and in his handicap run they were a long way clear of the third. He is set to run at Kempton in a valuable All-Weather series final in December and he was successful in a qualifier in the summer. He will then go back over hurdles.
