AMERICA FIRST has taken a few runs to get into gear. She gives the impression the extra is what she is looking for but she is switching to the poly. INDIGNATION has steady form over shorter and steps up to this trip for the first time. She has run well on the poly and could relish the extra. LILBITOFMONICA and CALI BULLET both caught the eye last time and have claims. FUTURE PROSPECT has been knocking at the door for some time now and could be in the firing line. CHAOS QUEEN ran on steadily in her last start in an Open Maiden. She could be coming to hand.

VENCEDOR has run two smart races on the turf at recent outings but has done well on the poly and gets a useful claimer aboard. From gate one he should have no excuses. RAGNAR THE KING has improved in his last two. He takes a drop in class and also has a winning chance. THE WOLF ran a bit below par last time but the step up in trip should suit. He can pop up with his best form. RECORD HIGH didn't travel well last time but is now back on the poly and rates the value proposition. I AM CLASSY has not been too far back recently and can pop up from a decent gate.

PEACE ROSE showed up well first run back from her maiden win and a lay-off from a wide draw. She shed her maiden on the poly and can go close. RED CORAL has useful form and goes well on the poly. She went up four merit rating points after her last win but has De Melo to help her cause. TREASURE ISLAND is overdue and gets first-time blinkers which could do the trick. HEAVENLY MAFIA has solid current form over the distance on the turf. She has the best draw and a light weight so must be respected.

SPECIAL GLAMOUR is the one to watch out for. She has fair Western Cape form and could be anything on her local debut. HEARTS ON FIRE made good improvement from a wide gate and has now drawn best. She has come to hand and on pedigree should prefer the extra. ONE PATH has been much improved in pacifiers and was narrowly beaten over course and distance last time out. She has the same apprentice aboard but a tough draw. Highveld filly CLOUDS CLEARING rates a dark horse. SHESHA NTOMBI is better than her last run. She switches to the poly but has a handy weight and cheekpieces.

Tough race. B FIFTYTWO is unbeaten in two starts in blinkers. He is up in class but must have a chance of a hat-trick. HAMMER BLOW brings fair Highveld form into the race. He has met some fair sorts and could make a decent poly debut. PHUTULICIOUS was a good second to a runaway winner and is out to frank the form. MIGHTY ZAMBEZI is capable and could find form from a plum stall. Stablemate MOJO MAN is another capable over the track and trip. CHARA SANDS has the widest draw but has a shout. RUBY RISING has patchy form but has done well over course and distance.

POURSOMESUGARONME sharpened up over this trip last time. It could be the right race for her to find form. SCANDALIZE makes her local debut off some steady Western Cape form. She is back from a rest but is well drawn and there could be plenty of interest in her in the betting market. YOUR LADYSHIP won well under a light weight in a Class 4 last start. She drops to a competitive Class 5 and she has gone well over course and distance for her apprentice. MYSTIQUE ROUGE may have found her last start a touch short. Previous form over course and distance was solid.

Small field but wide open. SEVEN NO TRUMP can make big improvement on her poly debut now dropping in class. She should also benefit from a 2.5kg apprentice claim. THELEIA is speedy and after winning well could bring the form to the poly. Keep an eye on WHAT A CLASSIC, the youngster has scope to improve. The blinkers come off IZIBULO but she has useful form over course and distance and a good draw. The Hollywood stable rider looks to have opted for QHAWEKAZI who won over course and distance in her penultimate start. ROYAL CREST steps up in trip and has a handy weight.

MUSTANG HIGHWAY ran a cracker from a tough draw last time out. He goes well on the poly and should run another forward race. ROYALE JACKET is a long-time maiden but has been knocking at the door on the Highveld. The visiting stable has two capable runners on the day. ETZEBETH has changed stables. He has decent form but has been a tricky customer and is one to watch in the betting. LOVECOMESKNOCKING and GOLDEN DIOGO have shown some potential and need to be included in the Quartet. MASTERCRAFTER takes to the poly for the first time and is another to watch in the market.
