CAMOGIE was quite speedy on the turf in his first run after gelding. He could be a better proposition on the Poly this time. BARRY'S BOY has put in two smart efforts on the surface and has room for more improvement in this Open Maiden. TASK FORCE carries top weight but was a good second on the Poly last time. He is lightly raced but could need it after a layoff. CARTEL QUEEN has shown her best recent form on the Poly and with a 2.5kg claimer aboard she only shoulders 51.5 kg which could make her dangerous. DONMAGOO is seldom far behind.

MUSTANG HIGHWAY made marked improvement second time out, first run on the Poly. That form has held up fairly well and he can go one better. LE CONCIERGE makes his local debut. He boasts some fair Western Cape form and if taking to the Poly he will be a contender from gate No 1. NAUTICAL FIRE looks held by MUSTANG HIGHWAY on their last meeting but both are lightly raced and he gives the impression he should love the extra. DANNY ATLAS ran out of steam on the turf when trying this trip in just his second outing. He can build on the effort and get closer.

THAT'S A GIMME just failed in her local debut on the poly but may have needed it. It can be tough for recently turned three-year-olds at this time of the year but she does not face a strong field. ANYTHING BUT LOVE is lightly raced but has shown ability. She has gone well on the poly which is a bonus. CHOOKS KISS is holding form and perhaps the drop in distance could see her challenge for the win. BRIGHTSUNNYDAY is a lightly raced five-year-old. Her last run is best ignored and she has the best of the draws.

Tough handicap. BANGKOK MAGIC looks progressive and showed up well first run out of the maidens. He goes well on the poly and should run another good race. OMKHULU BOSS makes his poly debut but had come on nicely before shedding his maiden. He has finished ahead of BANGKOK MAGIC but this time it could get close. SHE'S A MACHINE seldom puts in a bad effort and can feature in this line-up. SKY ROCKET makes his local debut first up on the poly. He is lightly raced and the change of surface could bring out more from him.

Wide open. MASTER SILVANO has shown his best recent form over the course and distance. He is 2.5kg better off with KAAPSE KLOPSE on their last meeting and should be able to turn the tables from the best draw. VICTOR RAIL is in fighting form and should make a race of it. He can relish the step up in trip. CLICKBAIT (rested) and SAUDI SWEEP could be dangerous at the weights. INDECENT PROPOSAL is back on his preferred surface and has useful form over course and distance. HEAVEN'S WILL seems to have another win to come, he will need the right breaks.

BLAZING FURY won well last run under a big weight. He got a four-point rating hike for that win and is now back up in class. However, he does look capable of following up. KALAHARI ROLLER has been in solid form of late and goes well over course and distance. He met stronger in his last two and can finally score from gate No 1. RAINBOW REWARD and MOJO MAN are stalwarts who have the form to fight for prizes too. KYTHERA has run two smart races on the poly. She is up in class but has a handy weight and rates an each-way chance. MIGHTY ZAMBEZI has upset potential.

PLEASE BE TRUE won well first run on the poly starting at cramped odds. He got a four-point raise in the handicap but Keagan de Melo stays with the ride and they can follow up. SUNDANCE KID is a course-and-distance specialist. He was well beaten behind PLEASE BE TRUE last time but had the worst of the draws. He is now 3kg better off and can turn the tables. AMOR FATI and ROLLO THE VIKING also have claims at the weights and are capable on the surface. ROYAL SWORD and AFRICAN DUSK can make the exotics pay.

POURSOMESUGARONME is always dangerous. She has a fair weight to shoulder but goes well over course and distance and is capable of a strong finish. RED CORAL drops in trip but goes very well on the poly and if the distance suits could prove the one to beat. OKLAHOMA GIRL started favourite when taking on stronger last time out. Down in class she could now be among the leading contenders. Watch out for ETHEREAL VIEW and THE GHOST as both are capable of better. AUTUMN RUSH is open to good improvement.
