MISTER GATZ (7) made an encouraging return at Deauville and subsequently ran well at ParisLongchamp, despite not enjoying a clear run in the straight. He is clearly on the up and could dictate matters from the front. DEMPY (8) won comfortably in a Class 3 race on his penultimate start, notably beating Odemar, who has since won the Prix Gladiateur (Group 3). CHESS (1), whose latest defeat can be forgiven. MIGHTY BOY (6), who has formed an excellent partnership with Mickael Barzalona, also has claims.

PAIUTE (3), a daughter of Homerique, who won a Group 3 race for Francis-Henri Graffard, made a commanding winning debut at Dieppe and should have more to offer. BOGLIASCO (1) also has plenty of stamina and represents the successful Provost-Munch partnership, which recently landed a Group 3. Always finishing in the first four since her debut, NANCY DES PLACES (5) can also play a leading role. LOVING QUEEN (2) continues to improve and should not be overlooked.

EUNICE (5), a niece of Group 1 winner Nightime, battled all the way to the finish on her debut and notably beat a stablemate who has since won. KENERGY (3) showed plenty of tenacity when making the running at Deauville and is another serious contender for victory. VALIKA (4) can be involved on the strength of her debut, while supplemented BILLION GOLD (1) should certainly not be written off.

MAGIC INSPIRATION (6) finished second over this distance last time and is bidding for a deserved first win. Well bred and partnered by Maxime Guyon from the outset, CALETTE (12) will attract plenty of attention on debut. NOGAI KHAN (2) and COLOSAAL (1) both led the field home on their debuts and should have more to offer.

BLANQUETTE (11) caught the eye with a strong finish at Clairefontaine last time and, having already finished second over this course and distance can score this time around. MARASI DRIVE (1), a recent winner over the selection, will benefit from Leo-Paul Brechet's allowance this time. UTXA (3) recently won a claiming race and has since returned to Philippe Decouz's stable. MAINE DE BIRAN (5) arrives in excellent form and should also have a say.

With two runners in the field, the Fabre stable can rely on JANNET (6), who will once again be partnered by Pierre-Charles Boudot despite her disappointing return. STORY WAY (8) is in excellent form but found 2,400 metres too short last time and can be expected to appreciate this test. Initially entered in the Prix de Diane (Group 1), CARAMEL (9) has been freshened up following a disappointing effort at the end of April and is worth watching. ALLEZ FRERES (1) can rely on her experience and is also a threat.

GRAND ART (7) made a promising return to racing after almost a year off, performing well in two outings on the Flat this summer, and looks close to winning again. At 10, fellow veteran BARBADIN (6), a Quinte+ winner in 2023, will need to be respected after another solid effort at Clairefontaine. Trained by the in-form Eric Lecoiffier, GOD SAVE THE QUEEN (4) and MISS BRESIL DELF (8) are acapable of making the frame.

VENDOMYA (2) finished strongly at Deauville last time and looks to have the necessary handicap form to be competitive off this handicap mark. KING MOTIF (7) was held up by tiring rivals on the final turn at Saint-Malo but still ran well enough and can do better. SPLENDINO (1) has rarely put a foot wrong with Lorette Gallo in the sulky and should again be involved. LE GAST (3), judged on his penultimate effort, also has claims in a competitive lucky last race.
