DUBLIN CALLING (2) ran with plenty of promise on his debut at Vichy when he was third. He can improve for that outing and is taken ahead of DALMORA (3), who has ran with encouragement on her two runs so far and can make things interesting. AVID INTEREST (6) has a nice pedigree and is from a respected trainer that can ready a newcomer to produce on debut. She is one to monitor in the betting for clues.
INOUIE TIEPY (4) won with a good deal of authority when last seen at Lignieres in a Class 3 cross-country race and she will be expected to follow up. Her main threat is NICAR DEL AVIGNON (1), who scored at Pompadour in a Class 4 cross-country on his latest start late last month and will make the selection work hard. PARAY (5) has the assistance of James Reveley, who seems to excel in this discipline, and he can be expected to play a leading role in the finish.
ROI DU CIEL (10) has been consistent recently with five placed efforts, which includes a win at Vittel in mid-July. He is given the nod here ahead of LIKE A DOVE (9), who tries a handicap for the first time and looks reasonably well treated. AUSTRALIPS (6) won a claimer two runs back and is an option for the each-way backers to consider. OCEAN STAR (3) is also worthy of a mention and can have a say in the finish.
INGENUITY (6) was running a good race when she unseated her jockey on her latest start when holding every chance of being involved. She can make amends and get off the mark. Her main threat could be NEATIKAT (5), who is quickly turned out after a creditable fifth in a claiming hurdle at Auteuil five days ago. BATHYGAR DU GRENAT (3) won in July in a similar type of race and warrants attention, as does TOPAZE DE MAINE (7), who was fourth in a claiming hurdle on her latest start on August 30.
NUMERUS BORGET (5) has been competitive on his last two starts and can get deserved success after a pleasing second on his latest start on the PSF at Deauville in early August. His chief threat could be GLORI LEADER (2), who arrives after three consistent efforts. ALGECIRAS (13) ran well when third at Lyon Parilly 11 days ago and has each-way aspirations. MYKISS (1) is another to keep onside and any rain can enhance his chance of scoring.
MANOSQUE (2) ran with plenty of promise when she was second on her latest start at Vittel and she looks like the type to keep on progressing with experience. She is preferred over BE MY BELLA (3), who is unbeaten in two runs. The latest success at Sable-Sur-Sarthe on August 30 in a Class 5 hurdle. MIEUX QU'AVANT (4) has a taking pedigree and is one to consider if the betting market is positive. BELLA REBELLE (8) makes up the shortlist.
KARMINA BELLA (9) is the tentative choice in an open handicap. She ran a creditable race when fourth at Lyon Parilly on her latest start on her return to action after nine months away from the track. BREMONTIER (12) is racing off a good racing weight and he can make life difficult for the selection. ROLEXXA (2) has ran in Germany on her last two starts and can be effective back on French soil. AS DE JUILLEY (11) was a decent second at this track in mid-June last time and is hard to discount.
ROULETTE (4) was successful on the all-weather track at Deauville on his latest start late last month and he can play a leading role back on turf. He faces alive threat in GLORY WOOD (5), who can be forgiven for the latest below par run and is best judged on his second on his penultimate start at Compiegne in May. COGOLIN (10) is one for the each-way backers to take seriously and BRAVE SHIINA (14) makes up the shortlist.
