It's Speed Day at Hollywoodbets Scottsville and there is plenty to get the blood rushing! LENOXX caught the eye on local debut. He was hampered in running and could have got closer. Barring a first-time springer, he could be the one to beat. ENJOY THE RIDE made a promising debut at long odds and should show natural improvement. He should prefer the extra distance. SNOW WARRIOR was rested after a modest debut but did find market support. MFULATHELA was a distant third last run but gets first time blinkers and can do better.

WAR EMPEROR has been knocking at the door and comes from an in-form stable. The step up in trip should suit. THE NAME OF DLADLA has finished runner-up at his last three on the Highveld and stays the trip. He gets first time blinkers and can go one better. DOG SOLDIER has made steady improvement and was running on well from a wide draw last time out. He is bred to prefer the distance. ETZEBETH ran his best race to date last time and looks a threat along with RED HOT GUY who came in for support but may have tried tactics that didn't suit last time.

Competitive handicap. MASTER BOMBER has come well of late. He has gone up in the handicap but goes well on this course. NEXT OF KIN has found one better at his last three outings but has gone close over course and distance and could finally get the job done. SERPENTINE FIRE may have found his last two too far. Back over a shorter trip from a good draw should see him up there. BEST CANDIDATE and RED CARDINAL are both capable of making more progress. SIERRA SAGRADA had some useful form and looks a lot better than his local debut on the Polytrack. He can only improve.

TALK TO THE MASTER has been holding form in useful company. He enjoys the track and is best weighted. FRERE JACQUES impressed in his last Highveld start and could be on the upgrade now. BETTER MAN takes a drop in class after racing in the Grade 2 KZN Guineas and could go a lot better this time. JP'S PALACE has yet to finish out of the money since being fitted with cheek pieces. He has run well in decent races and must have a say. GUY GIBSON has consistent Fairview form and has done well on this course. He has the best of the draws. More can earn.

Sean Tarry holds a strong hand. GET UP showed her class with an easy win in the TAB Pretty Polly Stakes and if enjoys the track she could repeat from a decent gate. SECRETARY BIRD had GRISELDA's measure the last time they met but it could get closer over the extra. GOOD DAY SUNSHINE has shown the ability to win a race like this. She is better than her last start but has drawn towards the outside. Stablemate FLOWER ISLAND is unbeaten in two starts and has drawn well. Debut winners TOP SECRET, VENTURA BOULEVARD and PALACE OF ARVERNIA could be anything. Lovely race!

A spectacular clash of talent. RICH MAN'S WORLD, unbeaten in three starts, was impressive on local debut. He could be a star in the making. HAUTE COUTURE announced himself as a horse to follow with a facile 10.50 lengths win earlier this month. He could be anything and should relish the extra distance. It doesn't end there. TIME IS PRECIOUS has gone from strength to strength and could be ready for the step up in grade after winning the TAB Protea Stakes (Grade 3). BETTER NEVER ENDS, winner of the TAB SA Nursery (Grade 2), had Heath House behind him last time. EGREMONT has scope.

If TENANGO is in the form that saw him win last year's race so well, he could be right there. But he is back from a rest carrying 62kg. Another son of Canford Cliffs that may be up to the challenge is MIAMI MOUNTAIN. He has a light weight and is capable of a flying finish but will need to get the timing right at a tough track. Fellow 3yo stablemate ONE EYE ON VEGAS has the better draw and could turn around a short head beating handed earlier. FOX ON THE RUN rates the dark horse. TAXI TO THE MOON, COSMIC SPEED, WILLIAM ROBERTSON, CAFE CULTURE and JERUSALEMA RAIN add to a powerful contest.

MIA MOO got up to win a thriller in 2025 from another amazing racehorse in the form of ASIYE PHAMBILI. She was eye catching again last time and from a favourable draw could be brave at the wire again. ASIYE PHAMBILI would be deserving of a race like this. She may get the pace she needs this time. But champion DOUBLE GRAND SLAM appeared most unlucky then, having had no clear run. The impressive winner of the TAB Empress Club Grade 1 is in hot form and could get better luck this year. Three-year-olds PERFECT MIRACLE and PRINCESS OF GAUL have talent and could be dangerous.

SAUDI CAT is back from a rest and if near ready could get back into the winner's enclosure. There shouldn't be much to choose between KAALVOET (won well last time), BANFF, CITY OF LOVE, and if reserve CHAPBOOK gets in, he must also be included. That race was quite competitive and could be a decent form line. GREEN GATEWAY is lightly raced but has some good form in useful company. He gets first time blinkers over what looks to be his best trip. BEST OF ALL has a light weight and can threaten. COGNAC needed his last run and could pop up this time. Open.
