Reims - Sun 13 Sep 2026
An open race in which L'AMIRAL CHATAULT (5), racing barefoot after two prep runs, gets a tentative vote. LESTER DU CHERISAY (3) has clearly been carefully prepared for this tailor-made opportunity and looks a serious rival. LAMSOU SAN (12) is better than his last outing suggests and deserves another chance. LILY ROSE MYSTIC (4), who has not raced barefoot since March, also has claims.
MISSIONDARCHE (9) won very comfortably at Divonne last time out , although he did benefit from a favourable trip, and can confirm that form here. MON ROYAUME (2) looks to have improved markedly since being fitted with four plates and can give him plenty to think about. MARIO DE LOU (4), who had to make a lot of effort last time, should not be written off. MAXIMUS VILLAM (7) has also been boosted by a recent spell under the saddle and has to be considered a possible winner.
MISTRAL EXPRESS (5) won decisively at Cabourg on August 11th and has been freshened up since, so he can complete a four-timer. MAESTRO CASH (6) has been carefully prepared for this and looks his main rival. MEMPHIS DE BRASSE (9), by far the richest horse in the field, will also have his supporters. MARS COBBA (7) performed well at Vincennes last time out and should again be involved in the battle.
An interesting Grand Prix de Reims in which the seven-year-olds could dominate. JE VIENS DU SUD (7) has been faultless since joining the Leo Abrivard stable and holds a leading chance on form. In excellent form for several weeks, JOHNNY MIX (2) deserves plenty of respect, as does JUDOPOCK (1), a model of consistency. JYTRACE DE HOUELLE (12), racing barefoot and proven on this type of track, also has claims.
NUAGE DIVIN (10) finished strongly in a competitive field at Saint-Malo on August 5th and returns to the course of his winning debut with solid claims. NEWDEAL SAUTREUIL (1) opened his account last time and can confirm that form with Damien Bonne in the sulky. NETWORK (9) returns from a break but has some interesting form lines to his name and is particularly effective going right-handed. NEVENE CHALEONAISE (8), racing with lighter shoes, also looks capable of making her presence felt.
MY STORY (6) won comfortably at Argentan last time to record her second success under the saddle and can follow up with Mathis Champenois again in the saddle. MUNCH CLUB (7) won on his only previous start in this discipline and looks the main danger. MAMBO BLANC (3) is capable of playing a leading role if keeping his mind on the job. LADY DES VALOIS (8), returning to racing under the saddle, can also make the frame.
ORION JIEL (8) shaped with plenty of promise following his recent disqualification at Cabourg and, partnered by Franck Ouvrie this time, can open his account. OLYMPE DE BELINE (7) faced stronger opposition at Vincennes last time and looks the main danger. Half-sister to several useful performers, OLLY DE BAILLY (1) makes her debut with plenty of interest, while well-qualified OUTSIDER DE KACY (2) is another newcomer to consider.
KISS ME MENCOURT (5) has been unbeaten since July 18th and returns to amateur company with a chance to complete a five-timer by taking out this lucky last race. HELLO CAUVELLIERE (8) has been producing a string of good performances and should be competitive again. HAOUSSA DE VENNES (11) made a highly encouraging return and is a threat .KANDAR JIEL (6), can also have a say in the finish.
