Made a winning return over course and distance at Bangor in December when beating Panhandle Slim by seven lengths.

Trainer says

He is entered in the Rossington Main this weekend at Doncaster, and he is probably a horse that wants two and a half miles. He has started off his novice career well and could end up in running in a nice race in the spring somewhere.

Trainer says

He has been very progressive over hurdles and loves soft ground. He will probably go for a handicap in the next fortnight, as I think he has a feasible mark off 124. Hopefully he will run in a handicap before stepping up in grade in the spring.

Trainer says

He is hard to place in his old age but still retains plenty of ability. His Gold Cup for the year will be the National Spirit at Fontwell, which we will be trying to win for the third time with him. He is in very good form and will be trained for the National Spirit.

Trainer says

He has had a very productive season thus far, and we may well look at the Rendlesham at Haydock in February. If he doesn’t go there, he could go to Uttoxeter on the Midlands Grand National Day, but he will be staying away from the Cheltenham Festival this year.

Winner of his point-to-point in Ireland in May and made a winning debut for the stable in a bumper at Southwell in December when beating Tap N Go Leo by three and a quarter lengths. Finished third, beaten 11½ lengths, to Tripoli Flyer in a valuable bumper at Lingfield last Sunday.

Trainer says

He got caught very wide for a long way at Lingfield last Sunday. He will run in another bumper in the spring, and he will be a nice horse for novice hurdles next year.

Winner of five of his 10 starts and currently rated 134 over fences. Finished last of four, beaten 32 lengths, to Colonel Harry in the Grade 2 Towton Novices’ Chase at Wetherby (2m3½f) earlier this month.

Trainer says

He started the season off well but has become frustrating - there is something missing at the moment. The return to better ground and a smaller track over fences or hurdles might help to regain his confidence. The ability is there, but we are a lacking a bit of the jigsaw at the moment.

He won well at Southwell last week, and hopefully he will defy a rise in the weights and keep on progressing. He could be a nice chaser for next year.

Winner of one of his two starts. Fell when favourite for a maiden hurdle at Aintree (2m4f) in May, but made amends on his return at Leicester (1m7½f) earlier this month when scoring by a neck from Wal Buck’s.

He won well at Leicester after a long lay-off. We will go small with him again, and he may be a horse that could run in a nicer race in the spring.

Has won both starts for the stable, beating Go Fox by 15 lengths in a handicap hurdle at Fakenham (2m) in December off a mark of 111, before following up under a 7lb penalty at Fontwell (2m1½f) on Boxing Day when holding on by a neck from Nashville Nipper.

Trainer says

He is two-from-two for me, and he was probably flat the last day at Fontwell when winning under a penalty. I have freshened him up since, and he will probably run somewhere in the next fortnight.

He has been hard to train, and it has been nice to get his head in front a couple of times this season. He may well be up to winning again off his mark, either over hurdles or fences.

Made a winning debut for the stable when scoring by 30 lengths from Secret Plan in a handicap chase at Southwell (2m) in December off a mark of 110, and was still in the lead when unseating his rider after sprawling on landing two out in a novices’ handicap chase at Newcastle (2m½f) earlier this month off a mark of 120.

Trainer says

He is unlucky not to be two-from-two for me, as he unseated when he was going to win at Newcastle on his last start. He will run somewhere in the next fortnight, and is hopefully still on a progressive curve.

He was a good winner at Cheltenham on his last start and is going to be trained for the Betfair Hurdle. He has a lot of ability, is hopefully still on a nice-ish mark. He will have a go at a real valuable race and we'll see how we get on.

I am not sure he stayed at Aintree, so we might drop him back a couple of furlongs or more and ride him more aggressively. He is a horse I thought might be capable of winning a better race, and maybe a Topham or something like that in the spring could be the aim.

He has been an absolute star, and obviously won a Pertemps Qualifier earlier this season. We are going to Huntingdon on Thursday, and hopefully he can win another race. He will go back for the Rendlesham, which he finished second in last year.

Trainer says

She is a very good filly and will go to Sandown for a Grade 2 mares’ novices' hurdle in the middle of February. She is a filly I like a lot, and I'm looking forward to running her in a nice race or two.

He has been very progressive and has had a winter break. He will come back and run in a handicap in the spring, and hopefully he hasn’t stopped progressing yet.

He has probably been a bit disappointing since winning his maiden hurdle. He will jump a fence sooner rather than later, and he is better than he has shown.

He is a horse with loads of ability, and he loves Wetherby - he actually goes to Wetherby on Thursday. He is still handicapped to win a nice race, and he will be going up in trip before too long.

She is a filly I thought would have won a handicap hurdle by now, but she is going to go over a fence at Wetherby on Thursday. Jumping a fence hasn’t come naturally to her at home but the step up in trip will help, and she will make a nice chaser in time.

He is a nice, progressive horse, and he will probably go to Warwick on February 10th or Ascot for a handicap hurdle. He looks a progressive type.

He is a very keen horse who's had to be ridden patiently on his outings to date. He could well win a decent handicap, and he could go to Ascot or Warwick for the race that Rambo T doesn’t run in.

He will be running in a juvenile in the next couple of weeks and ought to be winning one before too long.

He is a horse who is going to carry on progressing and will improve for a step up in trip. He will run in a two-and-a-half-mile novice hurdle and there could be a nice handicap in him in time, but he just needs more experience.

He is very progressive and will jump a fence in the spring at some point. He ran a cracker at Aintree on his last start and stays well. Hopefully he is one who will keep on progressing.

Trainer says

He was disappointing first time at Ffos Las and then ran very well at Ascot, but he didn’t enjoy making the running on his last start. He is going for the Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham on Saturday, and he's a horse who really is stuck between a rock and a hard place. It is obviously a decision of running him in graded races or handicaps, but he is not quite ready for handicaps. We will run him in the Cleeve and see how we get on.

Winner of six of his 15 starts and currently rated 123 over fences. Off the mark over fences when beating Desque De L’Isle by a head in a handicap chase at Uttoxeter (2m4f) in December off a mark of 121.

Trainer says

He has been an absolute star and is a very progressive type. He won with a bit of authority on his last start at Uttoxeter, and he should be well up to winning over fences again at some point.

He surprised me at Wetherby, where he made the running and loved the very soft ground. He will go back to Wetherby on Saturday week for a handicap hurdle.

Scored by a length and three quarters from Mill Green in a handicap chase at Warwick (3m) in November off a mark of 147, but pulled-up in the Veterans’ Handicap Chase Final won by Sam Brown over that course and distance in January off a mark of 151.

Trainer says

He won a veterans’ chase this season but is a very hard horse to place off 150. He will mix it between fences and hurdles, and we will see if we can win something else with him.

Winner of eight of his 16 starts and currently rated 146 over fences. Made a winning reappearance in the Colin Parker Memorial Chase at Carlisle (2m4f) in November when beating Mahler Mission by three and a half lengths, but jumped poorly when pulled-up in the December Gold Cup Handicap Chase won by Fugitif at Cheltenham (2m4½f) in December off his current mark.

Trainer says

He was very good in the Colin Parker at the start of the season before jumping badly in the December Gold Cup. He goes to Musselburgh a week on Saturday for a very valuable handicap chase.

Made a winning stable debut when beating Havock by a neck in a novice event at Stratford (2m½f) in November, and subsequently finished third, beaten eight and a quarter lengths, to Coup De Coeur in a similar event at Sedgefield (2m1f) later that month.

He won first time out but then Sedgefield was the wrong track for him on his last start. We will step him up in trip, and he should be capable of winning a handicap.

He won well at Exeter, but I probably ran him around the wrong track at Market Rasen. He will return to a bigger track, and he should be capable of winning again.
