Trainer says

He could have had a different profile as he has been a little unlucky and could have won a few more by now. I am hoping he continues to progress on the grass. He is a solid horse, and he should continue to win races at a level. He is definitely going to get a mile and a quarter, but he has been running over a mile.

Cables Queen ran a really promising first race and she was beaten by a 1-10 chance on her debut at Leicester. She didn’t cost very much money so she will be able to run in a restricted novice and they are getting weaker this time of the year. She is GBB eligible to so every race she runs in she is competing for a £20k bonus and that is how much she cost.

Winner of his five starts this season and took his career to new heights when beating subsequent King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Qipco Stakes winner Goliath three and three quarter lengths in the Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot (1m 4f) in June.

Trainer says

Isle of Jura is currently on the sidelines with an injury. I doubt we will see him before the Guineas meeting next year, but in an ideal world he would have a prep run before the Hardwicke next year if everything went smoothly. It is possible he could go straight to Ascot or a race shortly after Ascot depending on how his injury is going, but I am confident of getting him back. He has been unbelievable as he went from a rating of 71 to a rating of 119 in 12 months. He is a serial winner and won all those races in Bahrain and then came back and kept improving.

Trainer says

He is a consistent horse owned by my family and friends who has given us a great deal of satisfaction. He likes a strong pace and a flat track, and on his day, he can still win off his mark. The idea would be to get him up to 88-90 and send him to Bahrain for the winter where we will have a stable.

Winner of four of 13 starts and currently rated 108. Made a winning debut for the stable when beating Al Aaasy a length in a listed race at Newbury (1m 2f) in July. Creditable third, beaten a length and a quarter to Al Aasy in the Group 3 Glorious Stakes at Goodwood (1m 4f) this month.

Phantom Flight has made a good start for us. We sent him to Goodwood, but we had a big question mark that he would stay over the mile and a half and he didn't stay. We will now drop him to a mile and a furlong in the Strensall Stakes at York which is a win and you’re in for the Bahrain International which is worth $1million dollars.

He is an interesting horse who is on the improve and ran a career best at Goodwood. He will be campaigned in those better races. He is a little complicated mentally and he likes to find traffic. It wouldn’t surprise if he stepped up and won a better race. He will be a very smart four-year-old I think.

Trainer says

Prydwen has been a star for us this year and won a heap of prize money. As a result, he is now finding life hard in handicaps now and is not quite good enough to win stakes races. He will go to Dubai for the winter. His form is unbelievable, but he has had quite a long year.

Trainer says

He ran well in the Stewards’ Cup drawn on the wrong side and he ran well in the Wokingham not beaten far. He is now off a mark he can win off rated 94, but it is unlikely he will run in England this year and will be put away for Bahrain.

Trainer says

Seven Questions has been a star, but he is a very complicated horse at time to train and to get down to the start with the right mindset. He won the Palace House and then ran well at Haydock and then has run two disappointing races. He didn’t come back from Goodwood in great shape and is going to have some time off the track. We know he goes with some cut in the ground so he will have a nice break until the autumn. He needs some time to chill out and strengthen up again. He is a talented horse on his day.

Trainer says

He has been a little frustrating since winning so well at Catterick in April. He is a lovely big horse and a smooth traveller who probably wants to stretch out in distance. He can be quite hard on himself but if you catch him on the right day he is well handicapped and he likes soft ground.

He is a horse that was bought privately, and he is by Sea The Stars and rated 84. It will be interesting to see how he runs but he is a horse who is full of quality. He might just need the run, but he is a horse that will improve mentally.

He has been a lovely horse for us and a stable favourite. He is a little bit cautious and can lose concentration in his races but on his day, he is very good. He is paying the price for some big performances, and he will end up in Bahrain but could run a couple of times here beforehand.

Bay City Roller is as smart a horse as I have ever trained, I think. He has the pedigree, the looks and won first time out when he moved into the winning position very easily then was just a bit green in front. I would be a bit disappointed if he wasn’t more than a stakes horse and he could run in the Solario at Sandown which makes sense, or he could go to Haydock over a mile. He is all about stepping up in trip and with some cut in the ground. His dam is a mile and a half listed winner and I like him very much. He has actually been sold and will be running in the colours of Victorious (Sheikh Nasser).

He ran a pleasing race at Windsor the other night and is a brother to Seven Questions. He should soon step up on that debut and will soon be winning.

Trainer says

She won nicely on her debut, but the form hasn’t worked out and that can often be the case in those early season races. She picked up a niggly injury, but we galloped her on Wednesday morning, and she will be back imminently. She will go for a restricted novice under a penalty, and she will be hard to beat. We may be able to look at something sexier after, but we like her and she will start off in calmer waters first.

Griselda was filly we always really liked at home, but she had very legitimate excuses on her first three starts. She got it together in a big way in nurseries and we may have gone to the well once too often at Newmarket. She didn’t handle the track and I would say she is still well handicapped of 83. I really like the filly physically and mentally and I was disappointed as I sold her after Thirsk and the owners didn’t get a particularly fun day at Newmarket. I think she is going to be a good filly.

I didn’t intend to run her at Newcastle, but the race divided, and we were in a weak division. I got tempted to run her and made a mistake. She is the type we like as she runs well every time and is hunting a £20k bonus as well. That’s why we keep going back to the well with her and she will definitely win.

She is a lovely filly and she won on her second start when we expected her to win. She worked well on Wednesday, and she runs at Lingfield on Saturday where I hope she will be very competitive. She is huge and is going to step up in trip to seven and a half. She could be above average one day when she gets a bit stronger.

She is an expensive Blue Point filly who always looked like she had some ability but was a little frustrating until getting it together at Thirsk. She showed a really good attitude, and I would hope that would be a catalyst to show further improvement. She might just take in another novice, and I am adamant she wants soft ground.

He is a smart horse for sure and he was disappointing at Goodwood where he was drawn 1 but that wasn’t the reason he got beat but I think he would run respectably drawn in the middle. He had to peel off and didn’t want to come off the bridle but the horse in front was falling back on him. We will drop him back to a novice and he will be a nice horse next year when he puts a bit more timber on. He is still quite light framed.

She is Niarchos filly that we like and she is by Sotsass and may need a bit further. She is just having a break to strengthen up and even though a mark of 72 was quite harsh I think she will be winning nurseries when she strengthens up.

Toy Soldier is a horse I like a lot and he is very complicated mentally but the guys at home have done a great job. He is just the sort of horse you like as he suits our system, and he will run five to ten times more this time and I bet he will win at least another twice. He is a hard horse to pass in low-grade stuff and I can see him winning a novice under his penalty and his nursery off his current mark.
