She is taken to come out on top. ELUSIVE WAY (2) has also been running consistently well and looks the main danger. PURPLE BAY (4) has yet to open his account but has shown plenty of consistency and holds solid each-way claims.WHITE MIRACLE (7) makes up the shortlist.

SM CARD (3) ran a creditable fourth at Compiègne just four days ago and can make his presence felt despite the quick turnaround. JOYEUSE SAGE (2) looks like a threat after success over course and distance on July 2, and deserves plenty of respect despite her penalty. NICK BOUTIQUE (7) is far better than his recent form figures suggest and can not be ignored. HARTWOOD MAN (8), is also worth paying attention to and can make the frame.

GERARD TER BORCH (4) produced a devastating late burst in the Grand Handicap de Chantilly and looks capable of landing a Quintý+ off his current mark. With an excellent record alongside Antoine Hamelin, he sets the standard. ANSSIO (1) has been in fine form, is well drawn in stall 3, and should enjoy an ideal trip close to the pace, making him the principal danger. CARAMELITO (2) has returned to form and is back at a track he relishes, while ALMIRO (3) is better than his latest run suggests and deserves another chance. HERMES WOOD (6) has remained competitive at this level and is another with solid claims of making the frame.

A Listed winner earlier in his career, HARPER (1) has retained plenty of ability despite his advancing years. A proven performer at this track, he drops into claiming company for the first time and looks to hold leading claims. REVERSO (2) competed with credit in stronger races last year and, although returning from a break,can be involved. CROWDFUNDING (4) arrives on the back of success at Nantes earlier this month in a handicap, while SILGREYPIT (7) is well treated and looks best of the remainder.

BEHRAYNA (2) bids to extend her winning sequence to four. She impressed when landing a Group 3 at Chantilly in May with plenty in hand and looks a filly very much on the upgrade. PINK PANTHERA (1) rates the principal danger after a narrow runner-up finish to Diamond Necklace in the Prix de Diane (Gr.1) over 2100m at Chantilly in June. DISPATCHES (3) is another progressive filly, having won both starts this season, most recently in a Listed contest over this course in early June, and commands respect.

CAUSEWAY (5) gets the vote after edging out his rivals in the King Edward VII Stakes (Gr.2) at Royal Ascot in mid-June and can extend his winning streak. VARANDIR (1) looks the chief threat after a comfortable Group 3 success over this course in May and remains open to further improvement. SPACE WALTZ (4) impressed when landing a Group 3 at Chantilly last month with something in hand and is another progressive colt. ALAM (2) also enters calculations after a creditable fifth in the Prix du Jockey Club (Gr.1), where he was not beaten far.

DOUBLE MAJOR (6) will find this a lot easier than his latest unplaced effort in the Prix Vicomtesse Vigier (Gr.1) in late May at this track. He was a decent second in a Listed race over this track and trip in April and can edge this over SONS AND LOVERS (1), who ran a creditable race at Ascot in the Hardwicke Stakes (Gr.2) late last month, and makes the trip over from Ireland. PARACHUTISTE (4) was a game winner last time at Lyon Parilly 22 days ago and can also be involved at the finish.

CHERGUI (6), the highest-rated runner in the field, has been freshened up since finishing fourth at Madrid in early April and looks like the one to beat in this amateur riders' contest. ZULU WARRIOR (3), with the in-form Florent Guy in the saddle, is capable of bouncing back and rates the main danger. DEVIL IN THE SKY (2) is a proven performer in this sphere and reunites with the rider who partnered him to victory two starts ago. POCA GEN (5) is better than his recent form figures and is worth considering.
