Form profile

Winner of one of his 7 races and currently rated 112. Off the mark with a half length defeat of Et Moi Alors in a novice handicap hurdle Fontwell (3m 2f) in May off a mark of 106.

Trainer says

He is a likeable horse who has done well for us and has had a little bit of a break. We will be running him back shortly over hurdles and possibly over fences. He has had a wind operation and, hopefully, that will help him. He suited by anything over two miles and six furlongs upwards.

Form profile

Winner of a bumper at Bangor in January when beating Frenchy Du Large a length and a quarter.

Trainer says

He did well when winning a nice bumper at Bangor then had an injury and had to have time off. Hopefully,  we can get him back towards Christmas or sometime like that – he has a good engine and we could go for another bumper or send him over hurdles.

Form profile

Winner of his third point-to-point in Ireland in May.

Trainer says

He hasn’t run for us yet but he won his last point-to-point in Ireland. He is by Court Cave out of a Roselier mare and he will be a good stayer and probably won’t want the ground heavy. He seems to have a good attitude on the gallops.

Form profile

Winner of five of his 15 starts and currently rated 147 over fences. Gained his only success last season when beating Ballyarthur  a length in the Tommy Whittle Handicap Chase at Haydock (2m 7f) in December off a mark of 139.

Trainer says

He is very talented but quirky. He is in good form with himself at present and we will probably start him off over hurdles before going for races like the Ladbrokes Trophy and the Becher Chase and all those long distance races.

Form profile

Winner of one of his 8 starts and currently rated 119 over hurdles. Off the mark with a length success from Mr Jack in a handicap hurdle at Plumpton (2m 4 1/2f) in February off a mark of 113.

Trainer says

He won at Plumpton last year and I thought he was slightly disappointing afterwards. I haven’t spoken to his team to decide whether we stay over hurdles or go chasing yet but he likes the mud and should stay three miles.

Form profile

Winner of five of his 19 races and currently rated 138 over fences. Gained his only success last season in a handicap chase at Chepstow (2m) in February when beating Capeland three and a half lengths off a mark of 130.

Trainer says

He won well at Chepstow and ran well at the Cheltenham Festival last year. He was a bit disappointing afterwards and he may go to the Cheltenham November meeting. He is suited by two to two and a half miles and soft ground.

Form profile

Winner of his point to point in Ireland and both of his bumpers at Plumpton and a listed event at Ascot in December.

Trainer says

He won nicely at Fontwell then battled it out in a listed bumper at Ascot and the race is rock solid. He has strengthened up over the Summer and he has schooled nicely at home and he is an exciting novice hurdler.

Form profile

Winner of two of his 10 starts and currently rated 133 over hurdles. Gained his last success in a handicap hurdle at Taunton (3m) in April off a mark of 120.

Trainer says

He ended up winning two hurdles and jumps righted handed so needs to go right handed. He disappointed in his last race of the season but it was probably one race too many. He will probably stick to hurdles this season.

Form profile

Winner of two of his 4 races and currently rated 132 over hurdles. Scored by a length and three quarters from Precious Bounty in a novice hurdle at Exeter (2m 1f) on New Year’s Day and finished second, beaten three and a quarter lengths, to Precious Cargo in a similar event at Kempton (2m) later that month.

Trainer says

He is a decent horse who picked up an injury at the end of last season and he won’t be seen out until January/February time and we will have to see how it goes and he may miss the season.

Form profile

Runner-up in a bumper at Taunton in February and went one better in a similar event at Plumpton in March when beating Mr Harp 13 lengths.

Trainer says

He ran in two bumpers and won his last one at Plumpton very nicely. He schools very well at home and he is entered up in novice hurdles. He has strengthened up over the Summer and has a good attitude and should win races.

Form profile

Promise in three point-to-points.

Trainer says

He was bought cheaply from the Sales and had some ok point-to-point form. We will start him off in a bumper somewhere and, hopefully, he will turn out to be a cheap buy.

Form profile

Finished runner-up, beaten two and a half lengths, to Overthetop in a bumper at Warwick in April and went one better at Ffos Las on Saturday when beating Mario De Pail two and three quarter lengths.

Trainer says

He ran well when second in a decent bumper at Warwick and looked good when winning his bumper at Ffos Las on Saturday. He has strengthened up nicely over the Summer and is developing into his frame now and, hopefully, something to look forward to in two and a half mile novice hurdles.

Form profile

Runner-up in two point-to-points in Ireland in May.

Trainer says

We haven’t had him long and bought him at the Ascot July Sale. He finished second in his last two point-to-points and has a good attitude. He is bred to gallop all day and I think that is what he will do.

Form profile

Impressive winner of his only point-to-point in Ireland in March.

Trainer says

He won his point-to-point in Ireland impressively and he is doing nice work at home. He will start off in a bumper and we will see where we go from that. He is a big strong four-year-old and something to look forward too.

Form profile

No wins from 4 starts and currently rated 120 over hurdles. Finished third, beaten eight and a half lengths, to Win My Wings in a novices hurdle at Worcester (2m 4f) on his reappearance in September.

Trainer says

He had some decent form last seen but is a little bit of a tricky character. He ran ok first time out at Worcester and we will be stepping him up to three miles. He has talent but is little bit quirky.

Form profile

Fell when upsides the winner at the last in his only point-to-point in Ireland.

Trainer says

He is a big strong five-year-old who fell in his only point-to-point. He will start off in a bumper then we will probably look to hurdles. He goes nicely at home.

Form profile

Winner of three of his 15 starts and currently rated 139 over fences. Unseated his rider three out in a handicap chase at Cheltenham (2m 4f) in November of last year on his only start last season.

Trainer says

He picked up an injury in the BetVictor last year and we are going to try and get him back in January/February time. This is his second leg injury so he is doing lots of walking and swimming at present.

Form profile

Winner of two of his 6 starts and currently rated 124 over hurdles. Scored by eight lengths from Al Destoor in a maiden hurdle at Hexham (2m 4f) in December and finished third, beaten four and a half lengths, to Minella Warrior in a handicap hurdle at Wetherby (3m) in March off a mark of 123.

Trainer says

He is going chasing this season and he has schooled nicely at home. We still think there is more to come from this fellow and he could end up being a Welsh National type. He loves soft ground.

Form profile

Scored by a neck from Everglow in a competitive bumper at Chepstow this month on stable debut.

Trainer says

He put up a good performance when winning at Chepstow recently and he looks to have an engine and good battling qualities as well. We will give him time to get over that but he is a lovely four-year-old who should develop into a smashing chaser in time.

Form profile

Winner of her second point-to-point in Ireland in May.

Trainer says

She won an Irish point and she is not over big but she is tough and gutsy. We will probably start off in a mares bumper somewhere.

Form profile

Winner of six of his 14 starts and currently rated 136 over hurdles. Gained his last win when beating Justatenner five lengths in a handicap hurdle at Cartmel in July off a mark of 128.

Trainer says

He won a nice race at Cartmel through the Summer and he has had a nice break now. He has a good attitude and we may try him over fences this Winter – we will decide closer to the time.

Form profile

Winner of two of his 3 starts and rated 133 over hurdles. Gained his last success with a half length victory from Kingsplace in a novices’ hurdle at Chepstown (2m 7 1/2f) in March.

Trainer says

He will probably go to Cheltenham for the November meeting. He did nicely last year and we will stick to hurdles to start with and see if we go Novice Chasing. He should develop into a nice staying prospect.

Form profile

No wins from 7 starts over hurdles and currently rated 123. Finished runner-up on three occasions and odds-on when beaten two and a quarter lengths by Colonel Custard at Ffos Las (2m) in January.

Trainer says

He is still a novice over hurdles and put up some good performances without getting his head in front. That is what we are going to try to do this season and he seems to be in good form at home. We will aim high first time out and if it doesn’t go according to plans then we will look for a mid week race somewhere.

Form profile

Winner of three of his 14 starts and currently rated 135 over fences and hurdles. Scored by five lengths from Sensulano in novices’ chase at Ffos Las (2m 5f) on Saturday.

Trainer says

We tried him in a chase last year and it didn’t workout albeit that the ground was very quick. He had schooled well at home before his return to fences at Ffos Las on Saturday and he jumped just as we would have hoped and won well. He does love soft ground and if he continues to jump like he did then we will be in for an exciting time.

Form profile

Winner of one of her four races. Finished runner-up, beaten four lengths, to Silver Forever on her reappearance in a novice hurdle at Chepstow (2m 3 1/2f) this month.

Trainer says

She had a fibrillating heart at Ayr last year so it was great to get her back at Chepstow the other day. She finished second to a good mare and it was good run and we are back on track. Hopefully she will be heading to Cheltenham.

Form profile

Winner of three of his 18 starts and currently rated 153 over fences. Returned to winning form when beating Prime Venture two and a half lengths at Chepstow (2m 7 1/2f) in December off a mark of 140 and returned for the Welsh National at Chepstow (3m 5 1/2f) later that month where he finished runner-up, beaten a length and a quarter, to Elegant Escape off a mark of 144.

Trainer says

He might do a bit of novice hurdling this year then will be aimed at maybe the Becher and maybe the Grand National and all those long distance staying races. He was a superstar for us last season and won at Chepstow before finishing runner-up in the Welsh National and then in the National Trial at Haydock. He was running well in the Grand National when the rein broke at the Canal Turn and David Noonan had to ride him with one rein after.

Form profile

Winner of two of his 8 starts and currently rated 133 over hurdles. Finished unplaced, beaten 51 lengths, to Flash The Steel in a Grade 3 Handicap Hurdle at Chepstow (2m 3 1/2f) on his reappearance this month.

Trainer says

We thought he was in great form but he disappointed at Chepstow the other day. They probably went too quick and everyone who was up at the front paid the price for that. We will regroup and probably stay over hurdles for the time being.

Form profile

Winner of two of his five starts and currently rated 118 over hurdles. Winner of a bumper at Exeter in May and a maiden hurdle at Warwick (2m 3f) later that month – beating Spicy Fruit on the latter occasion.

Trainer says

He made a good start in the Spring and has had a wind operation through the Summer. We will stick to hurdles for the time being and two miles round Winter tracks should suit him well. He may head to the Open meeting for a two mile novices handicap hurdle.

Form profile

Winner of his only hurdle race in France in August.

Trainer says

He picked up an injury and won’t be seen until the New Year. He is a big strapping four-year-old and the form of his win in France has worked out nicely. If we keep him in one piece he should be an exciting one.

Form profile

Winner of three of his 4 starts and currently rated 142 over hurdles. Gained the second of his two successes over hurdles at Exeter (2m 2 1/2f) in February when scoring by two and a quarter lengths from Ask Dillon.

Trainer says

He was impressive when winning last season and ran ok at Aintree possibly not his best run. He will stick to hurdle for the time being and will either go to the Open meeting or go to Haydock for the Fixed Brush.

Form profile

Winner of 12 of his 31 starts and currently rated 146 over fences. Returned to winning form on his reappearance at Chepstow (2m 7 1/2f) this month when beating On Tour a neck off a mark of 142.

Trainer says

It was great to get him back to winning ways at Chepstow recently. He is ten but he is working as well as he has ever done. He will go back for the Becher Chase and the Grand National  and also for the Veterans Final at Sandown in January.

Form profile

Winner of one of his 11 starts and currently rated 132 over fences. Off the mark with a four length victory from Molly Carew at Sandown (2m 4f) in December off a mark of 125.

Trainer says

He was impressive first time out over fence at Sandown but lost his bottle a little bit after that. We are trying to get his confidence back and we will look for chase on soft ground over two to two and a half miles.

Form profile

Promise in both runs over hurdles and given a mark of 117. Finished third, beaten three and a quarter lengths, to Dr Sanderson at Ffos Las (2m) in February and when runner-up, beaten a length and a half, to Benny’s Bridge at Market Rasen (2m 1/2f) in March.

Trainer says

He ran twice last year finishing placed on both occasions. He is still a novice for the season and won’t mind soft ground. He looks certain to pick up a maiden hurdle somewhere.
