Expert View Verdict

Verdict

South Kensington was victorious at Brighton when last seen in the Autumn and has a previous all-weather victory to her name, so she is respected on her first start for Adam Kirby. However, PESSOA struck over an extended mile here prior to finishing a good second over the same C&D next time. Quickly bounced out off the same mark, he could be the one to beat. Cooramook is another to keep a close eye on.

Watch out for: South Kensington (2)

Hard to knock Call Glory, who has been in good form off similar marks and has course form here, for all that he's yet to record a win at this venue, but PESSOA appeals more having been in good form over further at the course. He can race keenly though, as we saw when third latest, and a forward ride over this trip might suit ideally. Simply Blue, although not at his best the last twice, was a good third at Southwell the time before and appeals as being on a decent mark returned to a C&D he's won over.
