NOVELETTE progressed well as a juvenile until appearing to have a valid excuse when encountering soft ground over C&D last August. She wasn't disgraced on her return at Nottingham in May and is likely to step forward from that outing. Hypnotised may do better for a gelding operation after a below-par effort here in April, while Rage Of Thunder appeals most of the remainder.
RAGE OF THUNDER will need to break better than he did last time over this shorter trip but he arrives in excellent form and looks well treated off an unchanged mark. His yard has a good record here which he can continue at the expense of C&D winner Novelette who was another let down by a slow start last time but should come on for the outing. The unexposed Hypnotised is also expected to leave his reappearance run behind if he settles.
