Phalanx Nation did well to finish as close as she did on debut having pulled hard for much of the contest, but Archie Watson's filly might do better with that run under her belt. Even so, Andrew Balding could hold all the aces with his pair MOONRISE and Wise And Wonderful, of which the former is preferred. The daughter of Churchill has a decent pedigree and Oisin Murphy in the saddle is a positive. Esha'a is worth a second look too.
A few to consider here despite just the six runners. Phalanx Nation sets the standard having shaped well at Nottingham on debut - she was a bit too keen and didn't last home - and she's likely to improve, but there are some promising newcomers here and it could be worth taking a chance on ESHA'A, who hails from a good stable that can ready one on debut. Moonrise and Wise And Wonderful, favoured in that order, are others to take seriously from the Balding stable.
