Purple Moon impressively won a Gowran maiden at 80/1 but could be vulnerable under a penalty and DIALSTONE is preferred. The penny dropped late on at Ffos Las on debut and he likely went into plenty of notebooks following that second-placed effort. With improvement forthcoming, he makes plenty of appeal.
FORTITUDINE makes plenty of appeal on pedigree, being a Dubawi gelding and full-brother to top-class 12f performer Rebel's Romance. Representing the powerful Godolphin and Charlie Appleby team with James Doyle booked, he looks capable of making a winning debut. Dialstone shaped with plenty of promise when narrowly denied at Ffos Las and should go close again with improvement likely. Purple Moon took a big step forward when stepped up in trip to win at Gowran Park and, having changed hands for 65,000gns, could have more to offer for his new connections.
