MESSUA DE LABRUNIE (1) has been in terrific form this year, with two wins, over hurdles and fences in August in Class 4 events. She arrives after a second at Segre in a Class 3 chase early last month and is preferred over SANTORINI (4), who won over hurdles in April and was then fourth in a handicap chase in May. She has been a tad low key recently over hurdles but is capable of a return to form. SERIAL WINNER (2) tries fences for the first time and drops in class and has the scope to do well in this discipline.

SHALOM (4) won a claimer two runs back in August at Deauville on the turf and was a creditable fifth on her latest start in a handicap in September at Lyon Parilly. She should have too much in her locker for INDIAN BELLE (6), who showed improvement when third on her second start at Le Mans last month in a maiden event. DWIGHT (9) is an interesting newcomer and is one to watch in the betting for any market interest. RIVERHEIGHT (1) fared well enough in a handicap at Saint-Cloud on his latest start in October and heads the rest.

KERMILLIS (3) has strong claims after success on her latest start at Strasbourg early last month in a Class 4 conditions hurdle. She reverts to fences and can make her presence felt. Her main rival could be BEAU CHARENTAIS (4), who is unbeaten in his three runs over fences, his latest success in March 2025, which sways the balance in the former's favour. KWELAFE (1) should have no fitness concern and is also worthy of attention. He looks best of the remainder.

DJIN'S (8) tries the flat for the first time and this classy operator over jumps is given the nod. He arrives after a second over fences in July and he should be too smart for MARANTAO (9), who has improved, and was a decent fourth on his latest start at Saint-Cloud in a claiming event when last seen in October. MINUTY (5) has been placed in Germany on her last two starts and looks solid each-way. MHAIRI (12) is worth a market check on her first day at school from a respected stable.

QUARTZDARGENT (3) won nicely over 2500m on his latest visit to this track early last month and will be expected to follow up stepping up in trip today. His main threat could be SHACKLETON (6), who has consistent form with several placed runs recently and is hard to discount. STELLA MARINA (5) is better than her recent form figures and is worth considering each-way. AFTERGLOW (8) fared well at this track when fourth on her latest start in October and warrants respect.

ZERO STRESS (4) is the tentative option in what looks an open race, she was a good second on the turf at Deauville late in August in a handicap on her penultimate start. She can be too smart for HELLO VEGA (5), who scored over this track and trip two runs back in a claimer in September and is dangerous to overlook. LOVE ADDICT (2) has each-way aspirations after a confidence boosting success at Clairefontaine on October 20. MEXICANA (9) completes the shortlist.

ZARAKIVA (1) won over this track and trip in April and can bounce back after a couple of recent unplaced runs. Her main threat is ELKABIER (5), who has been second on his last two starts and deserves to get his head back in front. ROUVRAY (9) has been consistent recently and another good effort can be expected. ANGEL DUST (14) is also worthy of consideration each-way after a third at Vichy in late September on her latest start in a Class 4 handicap.

SARASTRO (1) has been racing in stronger races on his last two runs when unplaced. Back in calmer waters he can get back on track and is preferred ahead of RUE DE L'ODEON (11), who got the job done at Saint-Cloud on her latest outing in mid-October in a Class 3 handicap and warrants respect. GLORY WOOD (6) has been knocking hard at the door with two second placed efforts recently. She is one to look at each-way. GRAND TERROIR (7) makes up the shortlist.
