28 Expert View: Poor run back from hurdling made a lot of use of in a maiden at Pontefract most recent start; effective 10f, both Flat runs on good to soft; showed little over hurdles despite wind operation and yet to prove it has worked.

65 Expert View: Didn't act on the heavy ground in a handicap at Beverley last time; top course jockey; effective 13/14f, acts on AW; stamina a worry but should do better back on a better surface.
63 Expert View: Late headway wanting further than 12f when third beaten 16l off 56 last time, same mark here; effective 14-16f, acts on any; stamina-test will suit and should return to better form.
63 Expert View: Outstayed near line but ran to form up to 14f on testing ground beaten 1 1/2l off a 3lb lower mark at Nottingham last time; off a short-break; stays 14f, possibly better suited by 12f, acts on AW and soft; creditable effort last time, this further again but may stay on better surface and contend.
69 Expert View: Progressive and outstayed rivals up to 2m landing a handicap by a length off a 3lb lower mark at Newcastle last time; effective 12f, stays 2m and that may suit better, acts on good and AW; typical Prescott-improver, big, workmanlike sort and return of stronger a jockey a big plus.
56 Expert View: Tried in cheekpieces but found nothing when 15l third in a handicap at Leicester most recent run; effective at 8-11f, acts on heavy and AW; attitude a worry and step-up in trip looks a bit of a last resort.
Verdict
It is pretty hard to look past the progressive NIFFLER here. He landed a hat-trick upped to 2m last time and may not have been at his absolute best under Poppy Scott being a bit of a boat of a horse and responding well to really strong handling. Luke Morris is back on board here and this typical Prescott-improver is very much the one to beat. The biggest danger could turn out to be Wedonttellthetruth. He does have stamina question marks over this the longest trip he has tried but will travel better than the favourite and if the race is slowly-run may outpace him in a sprint finish. Shopaholic ought to run better back on a sound surface having hated the heavy ground at Beverley last time and Billy Bathgate will appreciate the return to further.
