Luan landed a brace on the Tapeta during the summer and finished runner-up back here last time. Tenadaay scored over C&D at the start of the year and will be sharper for his recent comeback run, but it could pay to stick with BELLE AMIE. David Simcock's filly was winning for the third time this year when scoring with plenty in hand at Bath recently and this return to the all-weather holds no fears for the previous C&D winner.
BELLE AMIE looked like winning very easily at Bath when cruising into the lead in the closing stages but didn't really pull that far clear in the end. She may have idled in front and is given the benefit of the doubt here primarily because her main rivals lack much speed. Luan ran really creditably last time over course and distance and is a threat but may be out-sprinted for the line again. Tenadaay is best of the rest. He is another with good course and distance form and can be forgiven his poor effort last time having likely needed the race. Wonderful Wendy is quite a good-looking filly and ought to be better than she has shown so far so has a squeak but it is very hard to see any of the remainder figuring.
