Andrew Balding's horses are in good nick and it's going to take a big performance to deny TED LE SAUX another victory. He's got a penalty to contend with for winning at Newcastle but beat a useful yardstick comfortably that day and has been found a good opening here to record a double. Roger Varian's newcomer Mobberley Rose is probably the main danger, ahead of Porter's Song.

Ted Le Saux improved on his debut effort when getting off the mark dropped to this trip at Newcastle last time. The stiff test that track provides suited well, though, and he might not get the same set up here while the form hasn't worked out either. Let's instead take a chance on MOBBERLEY ROSE, the well-bred filly making her belated debut. She's from a top yard and has an appealing profile, while receiving 12lb from the top one is an obvious perk. Porter's Song, fifth in France on his only previous start when with Andre Fabre, has potential still and the market will likely reveal what is expected.
