EAGLE DAY's latest fourth over slightly further here signalled a revival may be imminent and a return to his last winning distance could prove fruitful. A 1lb ease in the eatings can only help the six-year-old and he edges the vote over Reds And Wolves. Hugo Palmer's inmate made a pleasing seasonal/handicap bow when just outside the frame at Southwell and improvement is forecast. Stable debutant Pursuit Of Truth is worth monitoring in the betting, while The Hare Rail is a potential danger judged on the pick of this year's form.

This can go to REDS AND WOLVES, who put in some good late work when fourth on his handicap debut at Southwell and the increased stamina test here can see him off the mark.
