Verdict

Fuseboard posted his best effort to date judged on his fourth-placed handcap bow at Lingfield and he merits consideration dropping into these calmer waters. However, HAVIN A FLYER arrives on the back of a fair third at this level and is a more solid proposition. Wondrous displayed more ability at Yarmouth recently and is a feasible alternative dropping in distance with first-time blinkers added.

Watch out for: Fuseboard (5)

The most likely winner of this is HAVIN A FLYER, who has been in fair form in defeat, finishing third in one of these events last time, and a reproduction of that can see him take this. Bishop's Glory is capable at his best but hasn't been in great form, so it's Wondrous who is the danger. She ran well in a similar race at Yarmouth last time and now gets new blinkers.
