DANI DONADONI filled the runner-up spot twice before easily landing the odds when beating Doctor Elvis over 2m3f at Limerick. The Willie Mullins-trained gelding didn't get further than the first subsequently in a valuable handicap hurdle at the Punchestown Festival and this looks a good opportunity to regain the winning thread. Lemmy Caution appreciated the step up to this trip in a Punchestown maiden and is now fitted with blinkers after wandering about on the run-in. Rocky's Howya has proved a prolific winner in point-to-points and and has won three times in claiming hurdles this year.
DANI DONADONI was a cosy maiden winner on his penultimate start and is open to further progress. His bumper form suggests this quicker ground will suit and he is chosen ahead of Lemmy Caution who relished the step up to 3m when making a winning hurdle debut. He should have much more to offer for his top stable. Arguably the most interesting contender is Park Of Kings who has lost his form over fences this term. However he has proven himself a useful handicap hurdler over staying trips so could bounce back.
