Top-weight PRECOCIOUS has thrived on the Highveld and should be competitive on favourable terms, though she may be better over a shorter trip. Joint best-weighted BRIGHT AND BRAZEN is ideally course-and-distance suited so should have a role to play. THE LAST DUKE wasn't at his best in a recent Listed event over track and trip but should fare better in this lineup off a 2-point lower mark. NEVER NEVER LAND and PUMPKIN PIE carry 5-point penalties for last-start victories but aren't taken lightly on their reappearances. TROMBOLINES wears blinkers for the first time and could improve to have a say.
