Verdict

HAMMER BLOW and TAKING A RISK have solid form credentials over this trip at a higher level so both should have roles to play. The former is closely matched on recent form with SERGEANT SOQRAT who is weighted to be competitive with his rider's 2.5kg weight allowance. However, preference is for TIME WILL TELL who was 2nd over track and trip in a stronger race recently and races off an unchanged mark.
