Verdict

LAW COURT won a shade cosily here last month and is taken to confirm that form with The Joker and Loblolly, who filled the places. A 4lb higher mark obviously complicates matters, but the son of Blue Point wasn't showing any signs of stopping near the finish and can cement his authority over this slightly longer trip. Mohaaraj made a successful handicap debut at Haydock and is another with more to offer.

Watch out for: Loblolly (5)

A hot contest where MOHAARAJ can complete the hat trick. The form of his previous victories have been boosted so a 6lb rise looks lenient and he should have more to offer again. The consistent but frustrating Arbaawy gets a pull at the weights with Law Court for his recent defeat and his breeding suggests this longer trip may suit better so he could reverse the form. The unexposed Quartermaster is another bred to relish this extra distance and the debut winner looks a big player on his handicap bow.
