Verdict

BIGALO holds strong claims on these terms. Runner-up in handicaps on his last three outings, Roger Fell's charge could prove hard to stop in this company if performing to the same level. Amantha has finished behind the selection on a couple of occasions and will do well to reverse running. Saying that, she could still prove the main danger, unless Penny Arcade rediscovers her form from earlier in the year.

BIGALO has been knocking on the door and was well backed when finishing second by one and a quarter lengths in a nursery at Musselburgh last time. He remains competitive and has a big chance in this company, although he has been beaten favourite on his last two starts and needs to prove he is not becoming expensive to follow. Amantha has plenty of useful form to her name, including a win, a second and two thirds, and can bounce back from a below-par effort at Beverley last time out. Penny Arcade has struggled since leaving Karl Burke but showed plenty of promise earlier in her career and could revive her career here.
