TAMARIND BAY has proved a different proposition since making his chase debut at Stratford in June and a hat-trick could be on the cards. The six-year-old finished 16 lengths ahead of his nearest pursuer at Uttoxeter and a 5lb rise from the assessor is workable. Point-to-point winner Follow Your Luck has been just as impressive on his two outings over timber and it will be interesting to see how he compares in the market on his return. Ras Kassar may fare best of the remainder.
Just the five runners, but a good little chase and not an easy decision between Tamarind Bay and FOLLOW YOUR LUCK. Both are chasing a hat-trick with this set to be the selection's chase debut after back-to-back wins over hurdles at Sedgefield. He's a former point winner, which will stand him in good stead, and has a nice reputation by all accounts. He can prove too strong for Tamarind Bay, who followed up in good style despite jumping left at Uttoxeter last time. His new mark asks more but he's a chaser on the upo. Ras Kassar is best of the rest with him remaining competitively weighted.
