Expert View Verdict

Verdict

KOALA ROSE has proven consistent in her short career and chased home a progressive rival on her handicap debut. She shaped like a thorough stayer that day and racing off an unchanged mark she can gain a first victory now upped to 2m. In a decent contest the main threats look to be the James Owen pair of High Fibre and Percy Shelley. The former won a hot handicap hurdle last time and ran well on his last Flat outing but he does have a bit to find with the selection on collateral form after that. His stablemate has proven consistent in both codes for some time but still looks on a workable mark judged on his hurdles and French Flat form. His losing run is a concern but he looks a big player.
