80 Expert View: Well treated up 3lb, improved again landing a handicap by 3/4l off a 8lb lower mark at Leicester last time; effective 7f on good to firm; progressive but form had knocks, revised mark demands more.
77 Expert View: Improved a little up in trip beaten 5l in a maiden at Wolverhampton last time; bred to be suited by around 1m, acts on good and AW; well fancied for debut, could progress now handicapping up in trip.
84 Expert View: Improved up in trip and down in class under positive ride when winning a maiden at Newcastle by 1/2l last time; trainer in form; effective 7f, acts on good and AW; form of maiden win franked, opening mark could be lenient.
82 Expert View: Outpaced, ran to form but looked in need of stiffer test beaten 4l in a maiden at Epsom last time; effective 7f, might get further, acts on AW; could improve for step up in trip on handicap debut.
Verdict
A tight contest where all of the field can be given a chance. Hat trick seeker Emerald Bay is likely to be all the rage but his form has had knocks and he's been raised another 8lb so could be vulnerable. The other last time out winner PEGGY'S LAD is preferred starting out in handicaps off a lenient mark. His maiden victory has been boosted and he's bred to enjoy this longer distance. Woodhay Wayfarer has shaped as if she'd stay 1m in maidens over 7f and is another who already looks better than her opening mark. She should also be bang there at the finish.
