GALLUS NORMAN only began his racing career as a six-year-old but the son of Telescope has started to make up for lost time, winning twice this season, including most recently at Ayr. Jim Goldie's charge was raised 4lb and is upped in grade, but he's still unexposed as a stayer and might have more in the tank. Inappropriate merits plenty of respect, as does Cascade Hall, while Arrange is another who can't be taken lightly.
All of the field can be given a chance here but narrow preference is for INAPPROPRIATE. He still has to prove his stamina for 2m but he proved he stays 1m5f last time when just out-battled late on fast ground off this same mark. At a bigger price Clansman is of some interest taking a big drop in class. He had been in excellent form prior to that run at Newcastle and has won off a higher mark than this in the pace. The consistent Jim Goldie pair Gallus Norman and Cascade Hall also look big threats with the former open to further improvement.
