Verdict

CURIOUS ROVER made all to land the spoils ahead of a subsequent Glorious Goodwood runner-up at Ayr and a 5lb rise may prove to be lenient. The five-year-old took this contest last year and he's fancied to follow up at the main expense of Mighty Magnus, who is racing off the same mark as his latest third at Newmarket. Jer Batt continues to edge down the ratings and cannot be dismissed either.

Watch out for: Mighty Magnus (2)

JER BATT can snap his long losing run. He could do with some rain but he's now 5lb below his last winning mark and has been running back into form this term with his latest effort working out well. Last time out winner Curious Rover is still thrown in on his old form despite a 5lb rise so looks the clear danger while consistent C&D winner Mighty Magnus is also feared.
