Verdict

Despite taking another step up in class, the Willie McCreery-trained BELLA COLOMBIA can complete the hat-trick. A mare in the form of her life at present, the daughter of The Last Lion is proven around this track and was value for a bit more than the winning margin here last time. Although the handicapper didn't miss her, the five-year-old may just remain a step ahead for now. Gowran Park maiden winner Duchess Of Kenli is totally unexposed and open to any amount of improvement. Having had just the two starts, she enters handicaps off a reasonable mark. C&D winner Mallavelly has been running well of late and has to enter calculations for the Ger Lyons stable.

Tachos is likely to prove popular given her excellent course record. She is thrown in on her best 2025 form and bounced back to form when placing here last time off her much reduced mark. She could be vulnerable to the unexposed DUCHESS OF KENLI who won a strong looking 1m maiden on her reappearance. She's entitled to come on for that outing and can take advantage of a lenient opening mark for her top yard. Bella Colombia has been thriving of late and isn't discounted in her hat trick bid either despite a big rise in the weights.
