Verdict

Sword Of Wessex finally opened his account when successful at Yarmouth recently. However, that was his 13th start and he looks worth opposing off his new mark. Johnny Boom was narrowly defeated at Pontefract and he could be in the mix, but a chance is taken on KURIOS LADY. She was making her turf debut when runner-up over 1m2f at Nottingham and a bold bid is anticipated from James Tate's unexposed filly over this longer trip.

Top Tip: Kurios Lady (3)
Watch out for: Johnny Boom (4)

This is a tight contest but might come down to which of SWORD OF WESSEX and Kurios Lady is most suited by the 12f. Both looked like they'd benefit from a bit further last time and get it here. The former probably just has the better form at the weights and edges it. John Galt is also interesting being progressive.
